Join Tonic’s Growth Team and help bring our creator partnerships to life! We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented assistant to support our growing influencer marketing program.

If you're someone with initiative, scrappy energy, and a love for creators, you’ll fit right in.

In this role, you’ll help coordinate campaigns that reach musicians around the world — managing outreach, deliverables, and communication with creators. You’ll work within Tonic’s structured systems using Notion, Google Sheets, and our influencer playbooks to ensure every project runs smoothly and on time.

🎻 About Tonic
Tonic is the social practice and performance app transforming how musicians grow. Whether you’re a student or a seasoned pro, Tonic makes it easy to stay motivated, build confidence, and connect with others who love music as much as you do.

Musicians go live in “Studios” to share their practice, get feedback, and unlock performance opportunities — all in a fun, supportive environment. It’s part community, part game, and completely unlike anything else in music tech.

With 250,000+ musicians in 125+ countries from around the world, we’re building the future of music — one practice session at a time.

✅ What You’ll Do
We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments — and knows how to keep all the moving pieces in sync. You’ll collaborate closely with Luna (our Influencer Marketing Lead) and focus on three core areas:

1. Project Management & Coordination
• Track deliverables and deadlines for 10+ active creators at once
• Keep everyone aligned on timing, revisions, approvals, and next steps
• Flag blockers early and keep campaigns moving
• Work within our Notion-based system and Google Sheets trackers

2. Outreach & Communication
• Identify new creators using our Sourcing Criteria
• Send outreach emails from templates and track replies
• Guide creators through the collaboration process:
 • Align on pricing and goals
 • Share briefs and content ideas
 • Coordinate feedback and confirm final deliverables
 • Send reminders for posting + guidelines
• Follow up for potential renewals or ongoing partnerships
• You’ll act as a key point of contact for our creators — friendly, prompt, and organized.

3. Tracking & Reporting
• Confirm each creator’s content went live as scheduled
• Check posting guidelines: captions, pinned comment, story reposts, etc.
• Track post links and view counts in our central doc
• Share key insights (e.g. engagement trends, top-performing posts)

💼 Tools You’ll Use
• Notion – content pipeline, approvals, content briefs
• Google Sheets – deliverable tracking, creator status
• Frame.io – content review and team feedback
• You’ll follow our Influencer Playbook and pre-built templates to ensure consistency and speed across all tasks.

🔍 What We’re Looking For
• Excellent attention to detail and task follow-through
• Fluent in English with strong writing and communication skills
• Familiar with major creator platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
• Comfortable working in Google Sheets + Notion
• Proficient with AI tools like ChatGPT
• Organized, proactive, and good at juggling multiple projects
• Bonus: prior experience with influencer marketing or creator ops

🌱 Growth & Learning
This is a great role for someone who’s hungry to learn — whether you're looking to grow in creator partnerships, marketing ops, or social media strategy. We’ll support you with structure and feedback, while giving you the freedom to take initiative and try things out.

To show us you read the full post, include the word “initiative” in your subject line or opening sentence.

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
