Position Summary
As an HVAC Install Apprentice, you'll support licensed technicians and installers with setting up
and installing heating and air conditioning systems in homes and businesses, learning hands-on 
as you go. It's a trade with steady, reliable demand, and this is where you start building real skills
for a long-term career.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist HVAC installers with the setup, installation, and replacement of HVAC systems, 
including ductwork and wiring
• Prepare tools, materials, and work areas, and perform basic tasks like measuring, cutting, 
drilling, and assembling under supervision
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and project instructions from senior technicians, ensuring all 
work meets building codes and safety regulations
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites, and document work performed and time logs as
required
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers, and take part in training and 
safety meetings to build your HVAC trade knowledge

Requirements
Education
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Enrollment in or interest in an HVAC apprenticeship or trade school program preferred

Experience
• Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand and power tools
• Willingness to learn HVAC installation practices and safety protocols

Licenses/Certifications
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision
• Good teamwork and communication skills

Physical Demands and Conditions
• Lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods
• Work performed indoors, outdoors, and sometimes in confined spaces or varying weather 
conditions

Work Environment/Travel
• Field-based role with daily travel to residential and commercial job sites
• May require evening, weekend, or overtime work depending on project schedules
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
