Salesforce is seeking a highly motivated Manager that is passionate about production, collaboration, operational excellence, and strategy. The Keynote Production Team produces industry-leading keynote experiences that are the ultimate expression of the Salesforce brand, culture, and core values. Drawing inspiration from unconventional tech sources like television, music, and entertainment, the Keynote Production team creates live, impactful global keynotes that engage both in-room and online audiences, unleashing the power of Salesforce anywhere.
As a Manager on the Keynote Production team, you will be responsible for the project management and execution of Salesforce keynotes. You must be excited about building structures and processes that support amazing work in an ever-changing and demanding environment. You must possess excellent communication skills, acute attention to detail, unshakable nerves, and an unrestrained desire to master and contribute to the production of best practices of what has made Salesforce events so press-worthy.
Responsibilities: What impact will the candidate make?

  • Build strong partnerships, integration, and alignment with key cross-functional teams, including (but not limited to) Corporate Messaging, Demo, Creative/Event Experiences, Product Marketing, Finance, and Procurement

  • Partner with the Keynote Production leadership team to drive processes, plans, presentations, and prioritization

  • Overall keynote production project management, with a focus on leading Keynote rooms, managing keynote event teams, partnering with corporate messaging and driving overall programs forward.

  • Drive the execution and implementation of project timelines, progress tracking, speaker readiness, rehearsals, and on-time successful delivery of our portfolio of Keynotes

  • Take on ownership of top departmental initiatives, project managing leadership-priority workflows with clear comms and ability to drive a program towards desired outcome.

  • Lead and create strong executive communications that drive decision making, including: presentation decks, written and verbal comms, narratives, and strategic briefs.

  • Operate with a “no surprises” commitment to business partners and key partners, and become a role model for communication and collaboration

  • Develop production workback schedules and hold cross-functional partners accountable for meeting deadlines

  • Track show flows and collect content deliverable assets

  • Attend daily meetings to update the team on progress/status/issues/troubleshooting

  • Travel to 8+ global events per year

Minimum qualifications: What is absolutely necessary to be considered?

  • 5-8 years of operational event experience in a B2B, high-tech, fast-paced environment for complex events

  • Event management experience/knowledge. Experience working on, leading, or supporting successful event teams

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels of an organization via presentation, written, and spoken channels.

  • Is adaptable, collaborative, and committed to a culture of feedback.

  • Must be able to work in parallel on multiple programs simultaneously, within agreed deadlines and budgets

  • Can cut through ambiguity to advance objectives and deliverables

  • Proven success in leading indirect teams to achieve short and long-term goals.

  • Exceptional project and time management skills – highly organized, detail-focused, results-driven, and accountable

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel to 8+ events per year

Preferred qualifications: What would be helpful to have to be considered?

  • Experience working as a live keynote producer

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $117,400 - $177,600 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $140,900 - $193,700 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
