The Circle Internship Program is a 12-week, remote-first experience running from May 26 to August 14, 2026, designed to give interns hands-on experience building the future of global finance. Interns work on meaningful, real-world projects that support Circle's mission to enable the frictionless exchange of value.
The program includes three in-person experiences designed to deepen learning and connection:

What you'll work on
- Conduct lightweight user and stakeholder research to understand pain points, workflows, and constraints
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative inputs to identify insights and propose product or operational improvements
- Collaborate with product, data, engineering, and operations partners to design a solution and execute against milestones
- Build and iterate on deliverables such as a prototype, analytical model, or process redesign with documentation
- Communicate progress through clear written updates, tradeoff discussions, and decision-ready recommendations
- Present outcomes and next steps to leadership, including impact, risks, and a plan for continuation after the internship
What you'll bring to Circle
Core requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent training) in a relevant field such as computer science, economics, information systems, business, or a related discipline
- Strong product thinking and curiosity, with an ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured plans
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize insights into recommendations
- Comfort working with data (e.g., python, R, SQL, or equivalent) to inform decisions
- Comfort using AI to quickly prototype and dashboard new ideas
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners
- Interest in digital assets and financial systems, with a willingness to learn in a regulated environment
Preferred requirements
- Exposure to blockchain concepts such as wallets, on-chain transactions, smart contracts, DeFi/TradFi, or stablecoins
- Prior internship, project, or coursework experience involving user research, product discovery, or process improvement
- Experience building prototypes (e.g., Figma, lightweight front-end, or workflow mockups) or delivering operational playbooks
