SUMMER 2026 INTERNSHIP     

Ready to kickstart your career in beauty? Join Kendo Brands paid 10-week Summer Internship. Dive into a real project, become part of a dynamic team and explore career paths in a top beauty brand incubator.  You’ll get face time with senior leadership, networking opportunities, and receive regular feedback to help you grow. You will also get an opportunity to learn more about LVMH and Kendo’s role in the luxury world. Earn $24/hour while gaining invaluable experience.

Qualified Candidates must be rising juniors, seniors, or 2026 graduates of an accredited college or university within the past 12 months. You must be legally authorized to work in the US. Candidates must be able to work either June 2nd to August 6th or June 23rd to August 27th. For Summer 2026, our program will be hybrid from our downtown San Francisco office. Interns will come into the San Francisco office weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and work from home every Monday and Friday.   

 

SUMMARY 

The Global Marketing + Communications intern will be fully integrated into the day-to-day activities of the Global MarComm team. In addition, you will be responsible for leading an individual project that will be presented to Senior Leadership at the end of the summer. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Social Marketing (Owned) 

  • Conceptualize and contribute to Instagram content creation with an eye for aesthetics 
  • Assist in Instagram social calendar buildout, content creation, copywriting, responding/engaging with our Fenty Beauty audience, and sourcing rights to repost content from external sources 
  • Coordinate, pack, and ship product giftings for influencers, content creators, and community members as needed 
  • Keep up to date on the latest products, trends, advertising, and insights across platforms 

PR / Global Communications Strategy (Earned) 

  • Develop understanding of writing press releases and assist team with agency communications 

Global Campaign Development & GTM Integration 

  • Support the development of targeted marketing campaigns, with a focus on paid media, by bringing a new point of view through research of the Gen Z cultural landscape and development of reports on how consumers process + engage with the world around them 
  • Cultivate a keen understanding of the various levers of marketing and how we work cross-functionally with our other teams and regions 

Influencer + Events 

  • Support the Global Influencer Gifting Process across the Fenty Beauty Brands 
  • Manage Global Influencer and Content Creator Identification for key campaigns + support in the briefing process 

 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Exceptional knowledge of current beauty, influencer and cultural trends 
  • Experience using Instagram in a professional setting 
  • Strong writing and editing skills to articulate the brand “voice” in a creative, compelling, and witty manner via commentary and community management 
  • Ability to conceptualize, shoot, and edit quickly & comfortably on the Instagram app and other editing software 
  • Full competency of Microsoft Office Suite - specifically Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive 
  • Passion for skincare, haircare, beauty and cosmetics 
  • Ability to support multiple projects and problem-solve in a deadline intensive environment 
  • Detail oriented, data driven, team player with a creative mindset 
  • Willingness to develop, grow and have fun! 
  • Rising Junior, Senior, or 2026 graduate with experience relating to Influencer Marketing/Social/PR
