Freshworks is looking for a Finance Intern to join our FP&A/Investor Relations or Accounting/RevOps team! Interns will be assigned to one of the following teams based on prior experience, interests, and educational background. As an intern, you will be exposed to the foundations of financial planning, forecasting & analysis for our high growth SaaS company!

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the monthly/quarterly forecasting, planning, and close processes

• Develop meaningful analyses around workforce productivity to improve forecasting accuracy

• Assist with the company’s budgeting and forecasting model 

• Work individually and collaboratively on a variety of financial modeling, forecasting or reporting projects, depending on the business needs

• Work closely with the Finance leadership team, gaining exposure to business leaders and executives across the company

• Work on ad-hoc requests to support the teams which include generating and analyzing reports, preparing statements, preparing presentations and analysis for the management team

Requirements: 

• Current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in an accredited university; Field of study in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field

• Have academic or some professional experience working in a corporate environment is preferred

• Positive, professional, and outgoing personality with the ability to work in a team environment 

• Highly organized, persuasive and skilled at working with numbers 

• Excellent oral and written communications skills 

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (good understanding of formulas and ability to work with large amounts of data)

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without any restrictions

Availability:

• This is a fixed term, 12-week internship (40/hrs per week)
