Job Summary

The Investments Analyst will support the Enterprise Investments vertical in managing critical front-office functions across F&G's investment business. This position will provide essential operational and analytical support for strategic asset allocation projects, investment manager due diligence and onboarding, cash management, investment reporting, and cross-functional coordination. The role reports to the Manager, Investments and has no subordinates. This position will interact regularly with members of the Investments department, Treasury, Actuarial, Investment Accounting, external asset managers, and senior leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the investment opportunity and/or manager evaluation and selection process, including coordinating due diligence workflows and maintaining documentation
    • Assist in developing and maintaining quantitative frameworks for comparing investment managers and strategies
    • Conduct relative value analysis among multiple investment opportunities
    • Prepare meeting agendas and take detailed notes during manager meetings and presentations
    • Track manager communications, recommendations, and action items
    • Coordinate new manager onboarding processes and ensure timely completion of required documentation
  • Coordinate preparation of investment reports and deliverables for senior leadership and other stakeholders
    • Monitor and track key investment metrics, deadlines, and deliverables
    • Assist with investment and trade data management, reconciliation processes, and quality control
    • Coordinate with middle office and investment accounting teams on trade flow and settlement processes
    • Communicate investment activity and data to internal stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Assist with portfolio monitoring activities, including tracking asset repositions and trade activity
    • Help maintain investment models, assumptions, and analytical frameworks
    • Support cash management and forecasting activities through data tracking and analysis
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and team effectiveness
    • Provide analytical and operational support for ad-hoc investment projects and strategic initiatives
    • Assist with regulatory reporting and compliance tracking as needed
    • Liaise with Treasury, Actuarial, Finance, and Investment Accounting to support investment-related processes

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, investments, economics, mathematics or related field.
  • 1-3 years of investment-related experience (internships and relevant coursework considered)
  • Strong interest in institutional investments, asset management, and financial markets
  • Strong capabilities required in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • CFA Level I candidate or progress toward CFA designation preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to create or enhance processes and workflows
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with OneNote, SQL, VBA, Python (or similar)
  • Experience with Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin, or Clearwater a plus

Other Requirements

  • Perform other functions, duties and projects as assigned
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Minimal travel required (less than 10%)
