Citizens M&A Advisory is looking for a qualified Investment Banking Analyst to join our Consumer & Retail/Restaurant team. The location for this position is Charlotte, NC. This team provides investment banking services to lower mid-market firms (under $500 million in enterprise value) in the Consumer & Retail/Restaurant sector. Service offerings include sell-side and buy-side advisory, capital raises and strategic advisory. Primary responsibilities include

Our Analysts are assigned to a sector team but have opportunities to gain exposure to multiple industries within our core areas of focus. In addition to key execution responsibilities, our Analysts manage consistent deal flow. All Analysts have significant exposure to senior bankers and are involved in all stages of a transaction; they are an integral part of delivery to our clients and prospects. 

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of managing and assisting with the preparation of financial models and business valuations.
  • Leading / participating in meetings with current and prospective clients.
  • Conducting industry and company due diligence.
  • Creating and reviewing marketing materials and pitch/presentation materials.
  • Assisting business development efforts.
  • Must be Resourceful and diligent with professional communication and technical skills.
  • Sense of ownership and ability / desire to act.
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and desire to be part of a team.
  • Ability to work efficiently and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Candidates should have 1-2 years of work experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, accounting, or similar role.    

Hours & Work Schedule 

  • Hours per Week: 40 + 
  • Work Schedule:  Monday to Friday 

Pay Transparency 

‌The salary range for this position is $115,000 – $120,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings.  Actual pay is based on various factors including, but not limited to, the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
