The iOS Swift Developer will play a critical role on key projects for Lab49 clients. Working in a collaborative and innovative project team, with direct client-facing interactions, you will have an opportunity to apply your skills and expertise to design innovative applications that solve complex problems and enhance performance and productivity at our marquis clients.  

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, deliver, and test innovative iOS Swift applications while understanding our products from both a technical and product perspective in the context of our client’s business.
  • Communicate with leadership, product owners, other technologists and users to create working software based on an understanding of business and technical priorities.
  • Break down complex problems into elegant technical solutions to intelligently solve problems for Lab49's clients.
  • Actively contribute to the adoption of strong software architecture, development best practices and new technologies. We are always improving the process of building software; we’ll need your help to do that.
  • Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends.
  • Experiment with and learn new technologies.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years application development for iOS, using Swift (UIKit, or SwiftUI).
  • Thorough unit testing of iOS applications.

  • Desired Skills and Experience
  • Published app(s), downloadable from the App Store.
  • Multi-threading application development.
  • Interfacing with the device hardware (e.g. camera).

  • Nice to Have Skills and Experience
  • SwiftUI strongly preferred.
  • Experience with push notification infrastructure.
  • Experience in identity management and data security.
  • Ability to work in a team on 5-10 other developers.
  • Previous work in banking, and/or capital markets.

The base salary range is Analyst to Associate level – $120,000 - $135,000

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role and level. We are hiring across multiple levels for this job.

Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
Salary range disclosure as required by S9427A when hiring in New York.
