We are a small, fast-moving team based in NYC, passionate about building beautiful and functional products. We are constantly looking for creative ways to push the capabilities of iOS/watchOS to create an app that is more intelligent, fun, and integrated into our users’ lives. 

Bevel launched in early 2024, and we’ve been lucky to see incredible growth and support from our users. We’re looking to bring on additional iOS engineers to help us build an ambitious roadmap. You’ll get an opportunity to shape the future of Bevel and have full ownership and creative freedom to create your life’s work.

Responsibilities 
  • Build new features and improvements across the Bevel iOS and watchOS apps

  • Implement clean, efficient, and well-tested Swift code

  • Collaborate with design and product to bring delightful user experiences to life

  • Work with HealthKit, WatchKit, and SwiftUI to integrate health and activity data

  • Debug performance issues and optimize for speed, reliability, and battery efficiency

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions

  • Help improve our app architecture, tooling, and development processes as we scale

Requirements
  • 2–4 years of experience building native iOS apps

  • Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI

  • Familiarity with Apple frameworks like HealthKit, WatchKit, Combine, and Core Data

  • Understanding of app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.)

  • A good sense of design and appreciation for detail

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset

  • Excited about health, fitness, and helping people improve their lives
