Our client, a world leader in semiconductors, is looking for a “IT Communications Specialist 4” based in Milpitas, CA.

 

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate : $67/hr on W2

 

Company Benefits: Medical, Paid Sick leave, 401K

 

Seeking a Communications Specialist to develop clear, engaging, and user-friendly IT communications and training materials. This role will support IT initiatives, system updates, maintenance notifications, and enterprise technology projects by translating technical information into easy-to-understand content for end users.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create user-facing IT communications for system launches, updates, maintenance, and new initiatives.
  • Develop training materials, user guides, support articles, FAQs, and instructional content.
  • Write executive and management communications aligned with internal communication standards.
  • Simplify technical information into clear, concise, user-friendly messaging.
  • Create and maintain communication templates and support urgent IT incident notifications.
  • Publish and distribute communications through SharePoint, Populo, and other internal platforms.
  • Support basic graphic design, image editing, and HTML-related communication needs.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience in user-facing content writing and communication.
  • Hands-on experience developing training materials, user guides, or instructional documentation.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Experience in customer-facing, employee-facing, or internal communications.
  • Basic graphic design or image-editing experience is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, HTML, Photoshop, or email distribution tools is a plus.
