Heartflow is a medical technology company advancing the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, the #1 cause of death worldwide, using cutting-edge technology. The flagship product—an AI-driven, non-invasive cardiac test supported by the ACC/AHA Chest Pain Guidelines called the Heartflow FFRCT Analysis—provides a color-coded, 3D model of a patient’s coronary arteries indicating the impact blockages have on blood flow to the heart. Heartflow is the first AI-driven non-invasive integrated heart care solution across the CCTA pathway that helps clinicians identify stenoses in the coronary arteries (RoadMap™Analysis), assess coronary blood flow (FFRCT Analysis), and characterize and quantify coronary atherosclerosis (Plaque Analysis). Our pipeline of products is growing and so is our team; join us in helping to revolutionize precision heartcare.

Heartflow is a publicly traded company (HTFL) that has received international recognition for exceptional strides in healthcare innovation, is supported by medical societies around the world, cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan and Canada, and has been used for more than 500,000 patients worldwide.

As the IT Director of Enterprise Applications & Development, you will be the strategic architect and operational leader for the software ecosystem that powers our business. You will lead the development teams responsible for our core platforms—including NetSuite, Salesforce and ADP—ensuring they are driving competitive advantage for our Finance, Commercial, HR, and Operations teams.

You are a "builder" at heart who can pivot from high-level strategic planning with executive stakeholders to deep-dive technical reviews of application integrations and data architecture. You will be the primary advocate for architectural harmony, ensuring that our business systems scale seamlessly as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary IT thought partner for the Finance, Commercial, Operations, HR, and other functions within Heartflow.
  • Translate business strategy into a multi-year technical roadmap for all corporate applications.
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle (selection, implementation, optimization, and sunsetting) of all corporate software.
  • Lead the strategic assessment of our ERP environment, providing data-driven recommendations on upgrades, re-implementations, or platform shifts.
  • Ensure all applications meet the highest standards for security, scalability, and compliance (working closely with the InfoSec team).
  • Manage the delivery of custom application development and complex integrations between NetSuite, Salesforce, ADP and the Corporate Data Lake.
  • Provide technical governance for offshore development teams, ensuring code quality, documentation, and timely delivery.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Architect to ensure that all application deployments align with the broader IT infrastructure and BCDR plans.
  • Optimize SaaS spend by identifying redundant tools and ensuring maximum utilization of existing assets.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Architects, Analysts, and Developers (onshore and offshore).
Qualifications
  • 10+ years in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing enterprise-scale applications.
  • Proven experience managing NetSuite and Salesforce ecosystems. You don't need to be the primary coder, but you must be able to "speak the language" and vet technical designs.
  • Experience leading an ERP assessment or migration is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in managing cross-functional prioritizations and steering committees.
  • Deep understanding of middleware, APIs, and data flow between front-office (Salesforce) and back-office (NetSuite) systems.
  • BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field (MBA or MS preferred).

A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $205,000 to $260,000 per year, bonus, and equity. #LI-IB1
