As an IT Analyst in our Security & IT Operations Team, you will own the Management of Employee devices and key business applications.

To drive success in this role, you should possess a strong background in systems administration and automation, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities. As an IT Analyst, you will collaborate closely with security engineers to safeguard our critical systems and devices. Regular collaboration with HR, Operations, and tier 1 support technicians will be essential to enable Cover Genius employees throughout their entire employment lifecycle. Your work will be crucial in providing a seamless and secure technology experience for all Cover Genius employees, enabling them to do their best work

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, secure imaging/provisioning, global distribution, and end-of-life decommissioning.

  • Administer the fleet of corporate laptops (macOS and Windows) using Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform

  • Administration of core business SaaS applications, such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack and Okta

  • Proactively leverage AI tooling and scripting to automate repetitive IT operational tasks and enhance Level 1 support triage and resolution.

  • Serve as the escalation point for the Level 1 support team. Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity that require deeper investigation and expertise.

  • Develop and maintain runbooks for troubleshooting support requests. Provide training to Level 1 support Technicians

  • Assist in gathering evidence and generating reports for internal and external audits

Skills and Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in an IT Analyst or Systems Administrator type role

  • IAM & SaaS Platform Administration: Demonstrated experience administering major Identity Providers (e.g., Okta, Entra) and SaaS productivity suites (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).

  • Endpoint Management & Security: Hands-on experience managing and securing corporate endpoints using modern Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms like Microsoft Intune and Kandji. 

  • Advanced Operating System Knowledge: Deep troubleshooting knowledge of modern operating systems (macOS, Windows 11) within a managed corporate environment.

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Familiarity: While the role does not manage cloud infrastructure, familiarity with IaC concepts and tools like Terraform is desirable for automating the configuration of IT and security tooling.

  • Corporate Networking: A practical understanding of modern corporate networking principles, including the configuration and troubleshooting of Wi-Fi, VPN clients, DNS, DHCP, and the fundamental concepts of a Zero Trust network architecture

  • Scripting for Automation: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) to automate repetitive IT administration tasks, generate reports, or integrate systems via APIs.

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience

Combines strong written skills for precise documentation with a professional, customer-centric approach when handling user escalations and communicating security requirements.

  • Superior Organization & Adaptability Excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively prioritize competing tasks—from urgent security incidents to ongoing operational projects. *This position offers a base salary range of $115,000 to $145,000 annually.
