Responsibilities:
• Maintain an absolute commitment to safety for self and others (employees/public). Deliver GIS Data Discrepancy Resolution working with Operators, Mappers and various project work streams
• Performing data resolution, defining resolution, assigning work, and verifying the changes were made correctly. Working with other groups to resolve fore mentioned issues
• Following process and improving upon process Developing standard practices and supporting documentation for others to follow Tracking progress and reporting out on progress of the data discrepancy
• Ensure quality deliverables Being a team member working with others in the program

QualificationsQualifications:
• The GIS Data Discrepancy Role is viewed as an integral role in PG&Es journey in creating operations centers to manage the distribution system for the coming years.
• The person who fills this role will need to understand basic electric distribution grid models, mapping systems, and symbology.
• The incumbent will partner with the operators at the various centers, the mapping organization, the business application technology support team and the GIS Project to resolve data discrepancies that are found through the GIS Data Validation effort.
• The incumbent will use the following tools to resolve the discrepancies: DMS. CEDSA, DART, Google Maps Pro, mapping archives, and SAP Construction work orders. Incumbent will work with a group of resources to define the corrective action, assign it, and verify it when complete. Incumbent is expected to look for ways to further refine and improve processes for efficiency gains and status reporting to cover the full life cycle of this data validation effort.
• 2+ Years of job related experience working with electric Distribution System applications or mapping systems Demonstrated self-starter with experience working in ambiguous environments charting a path to successful delivery and operations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills working with diverse groups Experience with Microsoft Office tools Experience reporting out status and tracking team progress Desired: Knowledge of control center and/or electric distribution operations
• 2+ years of job related experience working with Mapping, Engineering or Electric Operations Demonstrates strong understanding of distribution electrical systems Ability to work with different teams across disciplines and levels Demonstrated ability researching and analyzing issues to resolution
• 2+ years’ experience with GIS systems and mapping tools
