WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As an IT Deployment Technician, you will play a vital role in the distribution, support, and management of end-user technology. This includes deploying hardware, maintaining inventory, providing desk-side troubleshooting, and supporting the overall efficiency of IT operations. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless technology delivery, accurate recordkeeping, and excellent customer support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Deploy desktops, laptops, monitors, desk phones, and mobile phones.
  • Safely dispose of outdated or decommissioned equipment.
  • Provide prompt desk-side support and quick fixes for common issues.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems as needed.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels within your deployment scope.
  • Accurately update asset records in inventory and data tracking systems.
  • Restock IT cabinets and vending machines across the site.
  • Coordinate e-waste solutions and support donation requests.
  • Collect IT equipment from employees (e.g., terminations, upgrades).
  • Monitor and manage SRT/task queues to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Coordinate delivery of new-hire devices across the NORAM region.
  • Ensure timely device delivery prior to client orientation dates.
  • Support desk moves and relocation projects as needed.
  • Collaborate daily with inventory teams throughout the Bay Area.
  • Perform regular inventory audits and ensure stock levels of standard equipment are maintained.
  • Receive, log, and organize inbound hardware shipments.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts as assigned by the Site Lead.
  • Assist with other duties and special projects as directed by management.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing preferred (but not required).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Familiarity with inventory or asset management tools (preferred, but not essential).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Collaborative and proactive mindset.
  • Strong sense of professionalism and commitment to customer service.
