Junior IT Support EngineerThe Role

Stability AI is seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer to provide responsive, reliable technical support across our globally distributed organization. You will help employees resolve day-to-day technology issues and support essential IT processes, including onboarding, device provisioning, access management, and asset tracking.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, a service-oriented mindset, and an interest in emerging technologies such as generative AI, automation, AI agents, and Model Context Protocol (MCP). What You’ll Do
  • Provide timely technical support to employees across hardware, software, identity, network, and cloud application issues
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including device setup, account provisioning, and application access
  • Configure, deploy, track, and maintain laptops and other IT equipment
  • Assist with the administration of Google Workspace, Iru / Kandji, and other core workplace systems
  • Support identity and access management, SSO, MFA, endpoint security, and SaaS applications
  • Troubleshoot issues across macOS and Windows environments, with opportunities to support Linux
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory, access records, and internal IT documentation
  • Escalate complex technical or security issues to senior IT and Security team members
  • Assist with access reviews, compliance activities, and security best practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve support processes and automate repetitive tasks
  • Partner with People, Security, Legal, Finance, and Engineering to support employee technology needs
  • Learn about and help test emerging technologies, including AI productivity tools, automation, and agentic workflows
What You’ll Bring
  • Early-career experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, systems administration, or a related technical role
  • Foundational knowledge of macOS and Windows devices, hardware, software, networking, and cloud applications
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and device-management tools such as Iru / Kandji, Jamf, or similar platforms
  • Basic understanding of identity and access management, SSO, MFA, endpoint security, and SaaS administration
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn new systems and technologies
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • A customer-focused, patient, and service-oriented approach
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities
  • A security-conscious mindset and sound judgment when handling sensitive information
  • Interest in generative AI, automation, and emerging workplace technologies
Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting a globally distributed or remote workforce
  • Familiarity with tools such as Okta, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, and GitHub
  • Exposure to Linux, AWS, or Google Cloud environments
  • Basic scripting or automation experience using Python, JavaScript, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems, asset-management platforms, or knowledge bases
  • Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, access reviews, or other compliance activities
  • Experience working within an AI, machine learning, research, or developer-focused organization

Compensation

The annual salary range for this role is $75,000–$103,000, plus equity and benefits. The final offer will depend on experience, skills, and the level at which the candidate is hired.
