Job Summary

As a member of the customer account team, a Junior Specialist Adoption Architect (SAA level 1)  is an emerging technical specialist covering Application Platforms, Cloud Native Infrastructure, Mission-Critical IT Automation, Red Hat Cloud Services platforms, and AI platforms.  The primary focus of this role is to partner with account teams to eliminate technical and organizational blockers, educate customers, and prove platform value to turn technical wins into long-term adoption and retention.

What you will do

As a Junior Specialist Adoption Architect you will participate in the FASTER Program (Field Accelerator for Sales and Technical Emerging Roles), which is a 10-month,  comprehensive onboarding and development program designed to equip you with deep technical knowledge, customer engagement skills, and industry insights. You will gain hands-on experience across Red Hat's portfolio, learn from peer architects, and contribute to real-world adoption initiatives that deliver immediate value to customers. This cohort-based program starts in September 2027.

Through this experience, you will:

  • Participate in structured training, attain industry-recognized certifications, and build hands-on skills spanning Cloud, Automation, and AI solutions

  • Learn how to present standard technical content, support workshops, and co-facilitate customer discussions alongside experienced team members to gather actionable technical insights

  • Build a strong support network of your Peers, Manager, Mentor and other Red Hatters within and outside of your team

  • Shadow senior architects to learn how technical engagements are run and documented in order to advance product adoption and drive product consumption

  • Gain a practical understanding of enterprise solution architecture, account planning tools, and Red Hat Open Practices used to identify technical blockers and deliver customer value

  • Build hands-on expertise through customer engagements, participating in architecture reviews and skill development opportunities that drive product adoption and customer success

  • Focus on personal and professional development as you grow your career at Red Hat

What you will bring

  • Passion and curiosity for open source technology and desire to build a career within the Tech industry and expertise in emerging technologies

  • Strong technical skills in computer science, IT, AI, or related fields gained through university programs, upskilling bootcamps, certificate programs, military experience, etc.

  • Demonstrated experience applying technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills in an Enterprise IT-related project

  • Motivation to engage in self-directed learning on new technologies

  • Experience with Red Hat products (Enterprise Linux, OpenShift, Ansible Automation Platform, AI platform) and/or related Open Source technologies (Fedora, Podman, Ansible, etc.), preferred 

  • Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) or programming languages (e.g., Java, Go) is a plus

  • Desire to be customer-focused, understand customer needs and assist them in achieving their goals

  • Ability to travel to customer sites and work both in-person at a Red Hat office as well as remotely

  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external customers

  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English

The salary range for this position is $41.39 - $66.19. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
