Lead Analyst / BI Product Manager

Job Location: Remote, US. You must reside and work in the US for this position.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Lead Analyst / BI Product Manager with an exceptional data engineering and visualization background to join our dynamic Data Strategy & Analytics team. This role will be responsible for leading the development of reporting and analytics tools in Tableau to support our business partners, as well as driving organizational alignment around reporting strategy. This role will also act as the business owner of Tableau, working with content creator leadership and data engineering teams to ensure a rock-solid user experience for creators and end users. The Lead Analyst / BI Product Manager will play a critical role in supporting company performance and growth by reshaping the way we leverage data to improve and expedite business decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Analytics:

  • Serve as the key data partner for our business teams and senior leadership, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making and enable proactive performance management.

  • Develop a suite of Tableau dashboards and toolkits that align business teams around a standard success management strategy, including the creation of shared KPIs and enablement plan for how/when dashboards and data will be used by the business.

  • Derive data requirements from business leadership and translate to technical requirements for our Analytics Engineering team to support the development of our Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Tableau Product Management:

  • Curate business analytics content within Tableau and re-design the overall user experience with Tableau: overhaul site structure/navigation, publish documentation and training content for creators and viewers, and leverage/manage usage of newly available Tableau AI tools.

  • Partner with Analytics Engineering to manage inbound data ingestion to Tableau, including data sources, schedules, monitoring/alerting, and Tableau Bridge configuration.

  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in analytics, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning, growth, and innovation.

Mentorship:

  • While this role is not a People Manager, this role will serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert on all things Tableau & Business Intelligence. Providing technical support to other analysts, content creators, and end users will be critical to this role’s success.

  • Lead by example in terms of stakeholder communication, project management, and solution design/development.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Economics, Data Science, Statistics) and 10+ years of experience in an analytics development role.

  • Advanced skill level in data engineering (SQL, Tableau Prep, custom formulas)

  • Experienced skill level in data visualization and dashboard development (Tableau preferred)

  • Proven quantitative and analytical skills with experience in statistical modeling/machine learning, pricing strategy/analysis, and forecasting.

  • Excellent experience working with a wide variety of data sources (Salesforce, Eloqua, Gainsight, Workday, or similar systems).

  • Proven track record of delivering actionable insights and driving measurable business impact through data-driven decision-making.

  • Excellent communication, data storytelling, and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear and actionable recommendations.

  • Dynamic attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and excellence in all aspects of work.

  • Ability to manage prioritization of multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

If you are passionate about using data to drive meaningful impact in education and have the leadership skills and analytical expertise we’re looking for, we encourage you to apply.
