onsemi is seeking a well-qualified and highly motivated program management professional to lead the implementation of onsemi strategies. The selected individual will lead complex programs that "move the needle", including acquisition integrations, divestitures, major system implementations, and business process improvements. This leadership position requires continual interaction with internal and external executives and functional leaders to align outcomes with evolving business needs. The selected individual is also responsible for adherence to and continuous improvement of corporate project management processes and standards.

Responsibilities
  • Define and manage program requirements, acceptance criteria, scope changes, and stakeholder expectations throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Own delivery of the agreed business outcome, scope, schedule, budget, resources, and benefits.
  • Translate strategic objectives into executable plans with milestones, dependencies, critical paths, decision points, and accountable owners.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and project managers across business and technical disciplines, often without direct authority.
  • Identify emerging risks and issues early; prioritize what matters, establish mitigation plans, and escalate with clear options and recommendations.
  • Make progress despite incomplete requirements, unclear ownership, changing priorities, or uncertain schedules by clarifying assumptions and creating a practical path forward.
  • Communicate concise, audience-appropriate updates on progress, risks, decisions, trade-offs, and required actions to executives, teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Work directly with non-onsemi acquisition targets and internal teams within applicable antitrust guidelines and integration governance.
  • Maintain disciplined program records, including charters, schedules, budgets, RAID and decision logs, action trackers, and executive status reports.
  • Improve corporate project management processes, standards, tools, and operating practices based on program experience and lessons learned.

Know-how:

  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, integrations, divestitures, major systems, or enterprise process improvement.
  • Project and program planning, including work breakdowns, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, schedules, and ownership structures.
  • Risk, requirements, scope, change, budget, resource, and benefits management.
  • Waterfall, Agile, stage-gate, and hybrid delivery methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Concise executive status reporting and disciplined meeting and documentation practices.
  • Data gathering and analysis to identify process, tool, resource, and execution gaps.
  • Broad cross-functional semiconductor manufacturing experience is highly valuable.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, science, technology, or related field and 18 years related work experience. 
  • MBA in combination with a technical bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • Minimum five years of project or program management experience, or experience in roles with a substantial project management component.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and comparable planning, collaboration, or work-management tools.
  • Mergers, acquisitions, integration, divestiture, major systems, or enterprise process improvement experience preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Semiconductor industry experience preferred.
