Salary: $140-160k annually
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership for electrical architecture and component-level cost optimization across battery, energy storage, and industrial products. This role will translate system requirements into electrical architectures, component and interface requirements, and verification plans while leading design reviews and technical decisions, while guiding distributed engineering teams.
Responsibilities
• Own technical direction and design reviews for the electrical workstream.
• Translate system requirements into electrical architecture, component, interface, and verification requirements.
• Lead lower-cost alternative selection for switches, sensors, and electrical isolation components.
• Assess impacts to PCBA interfaces, controls, diagnostics, harnesses, BOMs, and system performance.
• Coordinate with mechanical, systems, manufacturing, supply-chain, and validation teams.
• Review nearshore deliverables and ensure release-quality documentation.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of electrical or electromechanical product-development experience; battery, energy storage, industrial equipment, or automotive experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience with electrical architecture, sensors, harness interfaces, BOM optimization, and design reviews.
• Ability to lead technical decisions and mentor engineers across locations.
• Strong knowledge of sensors, switches, heaters, pumps, DC/DC converters, power-distribution, and harness interfaces
Salary Range
• $140,000 - 160,000
• The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
