Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Senior Measurement & BI Architect to act as the analytical engine of the marketing department. In this role, you will be the chief architect of our data strategy and technical infrastructure, bridging the gap between raw data collection and executive-level insight. You won't just report on "what happened"; you will build the robust data pipelines and predictive models that tell us "what will happen next" and "what we should do about it." This role combines high-level strategic consulting with deep-tier data engineering to ensure our marketing stack is scalable, resilient, and insightful.

What You’ll Do

Advanced Measurement & Data Strategy

  • Data Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture: Lead the integration of marketing data across the Data Cloud (e.g., BigQuery, Salesforce Data Cloud), ensuring a "Single Source of Truth" that connects Web, CRM, and MAP data. Architect solutions for massive scale, resiliency, and maintainability.

  • Prescriptive Analytics: Move beyond dashboards to provide "The So What." Deliver prescriptive insights that recommend specific actions based on performance trends.

  • Advanced Attribution (MTA & MMM): Lead the implementation of Multi-Touch Attribution and Media Mix Modeling to prove the incremental value of marketing spend, moving the organization away from simplistic "last-click" models.

  • Predictive Modeling: Build and deploy models for lead scoring, churn prediction, and customer lifetime value (CLV) to help the team focus on high-value opportunities.

Marketing Data Engineering & Implementation

  • Advanced Tracking & Collection: Digest Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and other marketing platform implementations. Identify areas of opportunity within data collection to recommend and build strategic solutions.

  • Pipeline Development: Develop and test applications for analytics and marketing pipelines, including data visualization, routing, cleaning, and access management.

  • Cloud Capability & Automation: Develop Big Data capabilities in the cloud aligning with business strategies. Implement automation and scalability using tools like Terraform for infrastructure as code.

  • Monitoring & Reliability: Develop monitoring strategies for infrastructure, platforms, and applications to ensure data purity and uptime.

Team & Vendor Oversight

  • Mentorship: Manage and guide one dedicated Data Analyst, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of daily reporting outputs.

  • Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external data vendors and agencies, ensuring they deliver on SLAs and provide high-quality data inputs.

Core Competencies

  • The Storyteller: Ability to translate complex engineering concepts and data sets into clear, actionable business narratives for executive leadership.

  • Consultative Communication: Strong ability to listen to business needs and creatively develop technical solutions, providing regular status updates and training to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Problem Solver: Proven ability to solve complex data challenges with on-time delivery, maintaining the highest quality and creativity in approach.

  • Data Strategist: Extensive experience implementing or managing Data Cloud environments (e.g., Salesforce Data Cloud) and defining frameworks for utilizing Big Data in the cloud.

Qualifications

  • Years of Experience: 12+ years in Marketing Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence, with a proven track record in a lead or architect capacity.

  • Education: College degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent high-level experience in Web/Data Engineering or Full Stack Development.

  • Expert Proficiency: SQL, Python/R, and visualization tools like Looker or Tableau.

  • Cloud Mastery: Advanced experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and familiarity with AWS.
