About Sprig

Sprig is the customer survey platform, rebuilt around AI agents.

For two decades, teams have relied on Qualtrics, Medallia, and SurveyMonkey to understand their customers. These platforms were built for a slower era, with manual setup, fragmented workflows, and insights that arrive too late to shape decisions. The gap between how fast products move and how fast research can keep up has never been wider.

We're building something different. With Sprig, AI agents design studies, adapt surveys in real time, and turn responses into clear, actionable insight. Teams move from question to evidence in hours instead of weeks, without sacrificing rigor. Product teams no longer guess. They know.

Our mission is to make deep customer understanding effortless and always on, so the best teams in the world can build products their customers love.

Companies like Microsoft, DoorDash, Notion, Figma, Coinbase, and TripAdvisor use Sprig to stay close to their users. Backed by $85M from Andreessen Horowitz, Accel, and First Round Capital, we're growing quickly across the world's leading product organizations.

The category is being rebuilt, with AI at the core. If you're excited by hard problems and the chance to define how modern teams understand their customers, we'd love to meet you.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Lead Product Manager, Core to own the survey capabilities and workflows at the heart of Sprig. Your scope spans survey creation, including advanced logic and question types; distribution through panels, email, and other channels; and enterprise capabilities such as permissions, integrations, and survey management across teams. You’ll expand what customers can accomplish in Sprig while making sophisticated workflows intuitive and reliable.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role reporting directly to the CEO. You’ll partner closely with engineering, design, fellow product managers, and go-to-market teams. You’ll have meaningful ownership of product decisions and be expected to bring clear recommendations, challenge assumptions constructively, and drive progress independently.

This is a hybrid position requiring four days per week in our downtown San Francisco office, conveniently located near Montgomery BART.

Your Impact
  • Set direction for your product area. Combine customer research, usage data, and competitive insight to identify the most valuable problems to solve and build a focused roadmap.

  • Build with customers. Work directly with enterprise customers and prospects to understand their workflows, validate solutions, and distinguish broadly valuable capabilities from one-off requests.

  • Make decisive tradeoffs. Prioritize work that improves adoption, supports new contracts and expansion, or strengthens retention. Balance customer commitments with longer-term product differentiation.

  • Lead execution from discovery through launch. Write clear product requirements, define manageable releases, resolve dependencies, and partner with design and engineering to deliver quickly without compromising essential quality.

  • Own the outcome after launch. Define success before development begins, partner with go-to-market teams on rollout, and use adoption data and customer feedback to improve what you ship.

  • Raise the quality of product decisions. Make complex workflows intuitive, communicate the reasoning behind priorities, and help teams move forward with a shared understanding of the customer and the goal.

Your Strengths
  • 7+ years of product management experience, including ownership of B2B SaaS products from discovery through launch and adoption.

  • Experience shipping enterprise capabilities that measurably improved adoption, supported expansion, or strengthened retention. You can explain the customer problem, your contribution, and the results.

  • A track record of leading ambiguous initiatives with limited day-to-day guidance. You’ve made consequential prioritization decisions, resolved cross-functional dependencies, and delivered results.

  • Evidence of simplifying complex workflows. You’ve partnered with design and engineering to ship intuitive experiences and used customer feedback or usage data to demonstrate improvement.

  • Clear communication and constructive leadership. You explain decisions and tradeoffs, build alignment across functions, and challenge assumptions with evidence and sound reasoning.

  • Fluency in customer research and product analytics. You use qualitative and quantitative evidence to identify opportunities, test assumptions, and assess whether a release delivered its intended value.

  • Practical AI fluency. You use AI tools to accelerate your own work and can evaluate where AI improves a customer experience, including the tradeoffs around accuracy, trust, and user control.

  • Experience making product decisions under technical constraints. You can point to tradeoffs you made with engineers to reduce scope, resolve dependencies, or improve reliability while preserving customer value.

  • Experience shipping AI-powered products, research tools, or products at a growing startup is a plus.
