Flex is a growth-stage, NYC headquartered FinTech company that is creating the best rent payment experience. It’s hard to believe that it’s 2026 and paying rent on time is expensive, inflexible, and difficult. We’re here to change that! Flex enables our users to pay rent throughout the month on a schedule that better fits their finances and budget. Our mission is to empower as many renters as possible with flexibility over their most significant recurring expense. After deliberately keeping a stealth profile as we built up unprecedented investor support and an enthusiastic user base, we are looking for motivated individuals to help us keep our mission growing. Will you be a part of the team?

Why Flex needs YOU

Flex has built a large, rapidly growing business that helps consumers pay their largest bills on time — starting with rent. At the core of our product is a network of partner integrations that connect Flex to the billing systems and payment portals that consumers interact with every day.

We are now expanding beyond Rent into new verticals such as insurance, utilities, auto, and more. We need a Product Manager who can help us move fast, figure things out, and “roll with the punches” as we evaluate different approaches to scaling the biller network.

This role is for someone who thrives in the middle of the action, can hold a lot of context at once, and gets satisfaction from turning chaos into working product.

What You'll Do
  • Own integrations end-to-end: Partner with BD and engineering to scope, build, and launch integrations with new billers and payment platforms across insurance, utilities, auto, and other verticals.
  • Keep existing integrations healthy: Monitor reliability and quality across our integration suite, triage issues fast, and work with eng to resolve them before they affect consumers.
  • Accelerate time-to-integrate: Find and remove the friction — in process, tooling, and communication — that slows down how quickly we can bring new partners live.
  • Build as you go: Help define the patterns, templates, and systems that will make our integration work more repeatable as we scale into new categories.
  • Be the connective tissue: Sit at the intersection of BD, engineering, and operations. Keep everyone aligned and moving in the same direction, even when the situation is evolving.
Who You Are
  • You have 4+ years of product management experience, ideally in a technical or integration-heavy domain. Prior experience at a fintech, payments company, or B2B SaaS startup is a plus.
  • You are resilient. When a partner goes dark, a timeline slips, or priorities shift mid-sprint, you recalibrate and keep going. You don't need certainty to make progress.
  • You have high agency and are scrappy. You see what needs to happen and you make it happen.
  • You are technically curious. You don't need to write code, but you can hold your own with engineers, read API docs, and ask the right questions to unblock a build.
  • You are a strong communicator. You write clearly, communicate status proactively, and know how to keep a complex web of stakeholders informed without over-explaining.
  • You are organized under pressure. You can juggle five in-flight integrations without letting anything fall, and you build the systems you need to stay on top of it.
  • You are energized by the early stages of a big opportunity, before everything is figured out.
