As a global leader in Open Banking Payments, we are establishing Pay by Bank as the new standard at checkout, providing unparalleled freedom, speed, and ease to millions of consumers and merchants worldwide.

Our Ambition: To build the world’s most disruptive payment network and redefine what the payment experience should feel like.

Trustly is a global team of innovators, collaborators, and doers. If you are driven by a strong sense of purpose and thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and high-growth environment, join us and be part of a team that’s transforming the way the world pays.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Lead Product Manager for Trustly Remember Me (TRM), you will own the vision, strategy, and execution for Trustly’s core end-user recognition and identity platform. TRM is Trustly’s user network that streamlines checkout friction and offers “connect once, use everywhere” experience. The vision is to provide a one-click experience through advanced seamless authentication (SNA, passkeys, biometrics) while integrating Trustly ID—our identity, verification, and KYC engine.

In this strategic role, you will lead the evolution of TRM from a friction-reduction tool into a high-growth identity network. You will define the market value proposition, collaborate with Legal and Compliance on reusable KYC/identity frameworks, drive end-user adoption and merchant integration depth, and directly impact conversion and transaction growth across all merchant touchpoints.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

On the Product team, our mission is to provide our customers with cutting-edge payment technologies that optimize user experience and meet the highest standards of security and compliance. Our team is made up of skilled and experienced professionals who are passionate about tech and committed to technical excellence. We are actively searching for individuals who possess exceptional problem-solving skills and thrive on innovative thinking, enabling us to maintain our competitive edge in an industry that is continuously evolving.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Product Vision & Market Leadership

    • Define Value Propositions & GTM Strategy: Formally articulate and champion the value proposition and positioning for TRM and Trustly ID across various merchant verticals, web/in-app integration types (SDK, Webview, JavaScript), and consumer touchpoints.

    • Identity & Verification Strategy: Own the evolution of Trustly ID, unifying identity verification (KYC) with TRM user profiles. Lead strategic cross-functional initiatives with Legal, Risk, and Compliance to establish global policies around data reuse, consent frameworks, and identity persistence timeframes.

    • Advanced Authentication Strategy: Drive innovation across modern authentication paradigms (Seamless Network Authentication / SNA, Passkeys, WebAuthn, FIDO, biometrics) to maximize consumer recognition rates while minimizing friction.

    2. Growth, Usage & Business Success Metrics

    • Drive Network Growth & Adoption: Own the end-to-end growth strategy to scale TRM active user profiles, repeat usage frequency, and merchant adoption/integration depth across global verticals.

    • Define & Measure Success Metrics: Establish and drive core KPIs including:

      • User Growth & Retention: Active TRM enrollment rate, profile creation efficiency, and repeat transaction frequency.

      • Authentication & Conversion: Passkey/SNA success rates, authentication completion rates, and conversion lift across merchant integrations.

      • Identity Reuse Efficiency: Trustly ID match rates, identity reuse throughput, and KYC cost reduction/friction reduction for merchants.

    • Data-Driven Execution: Deeply analyze funnels, merchant performance data, and consumer behavior to identify growth levers and optimization opportunities in partnership with Data & Analytics.

    3. Product Execution & Stakeholder Alignment

    • Strategic Roadmap Leadership: Define, prioritize, and execute a multi-quarter roadmap that balances strategic 0-to-1 launches, complex platform capabilities, and continuous conversion optimizations.

    • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with Engineering, UX Design/Research, Legal, Merchant Success, and Commercial Leadership to align business goals, deliver exceptional user experiences, and bring new identity features to market seamlessly.

    • Merchant & Customer Engagement: Act as the primary product authority for key enterprise merchants to understand integration challenges, synthesize market needs, and turn market feedback into scalable product capabilities.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Product Leadership Experience: 8+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of owning complex, high-impact products from concept through scale.

  • Domain Expertise: Deep background in Open Banking, consumer identity/verification (KYC), account linking, or authentication networks (OAuth, WebAuthn, FIDO, MFA, passkeys, biometrics).

  • Merchant & Integration Understanding: Strong technical grasp of merchant integration paradigms (SDKs, JavaScript, InAppBrowsers/Webviews) and how consumer authentication behaves across modern digital environments.

  • Strategic & Commercial Mindset: Proven ability to define product value propositions, craft market messaging, and connect technical authentication capabilities to tangible merchant revenue growth.

  • Regulatory & Compliance Fluency: Comfort partnering with Legal/Risk teams on data privacy, credential reuse, and identity compliance frameworks.

  • Data & Growth Driven: Exceptional analytical capabilities with a relentless focus on funnel metrics, unit economics, and growth mechanics.

  • Communication & Influence: Outstanding ability to articulate technical and strategic vision to executive leadership, enterprise clients, and engineering teams alike.
