Job Title: Lead Program Manager (Finance and HR)
Location: Foster City, CA

About the Job

The Lead Program Manager (Finance & HR) is responsible for multiple strategic programs which are critical to our continued growth as a company. Demonstrating a deep understanding of Finance and HR complexities this role will work across multiple business units building trusted partnerships within a complex stakeholder ecosystem while demonstrating excellent planning skills and adept management of risks, finances, and outcomes across business and technical domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead program management of finance and HR related projects, as well as the Finance and HR components of cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop detailed roadmaps, project posters, project plans, timelines, templates, and deliverables related to Finance Transformation work efforts to establish best-in-class program governance.
  • Manage large-scale budgets, track financial performance, and build compelling business cases to secure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Support finance transformation project delivery, including driving activities around requirement gathering, detailed design, and testing and implementation support as needed.
  • Manage resource capacity collaborating with other PMO team members and enterprise department heads to navigate complex inter-program dependencies.
  • Own the communications strategy for assigned programs and individual projects, including executive-level updates, status updates, and presenting at ongoing program governance cadences
  • Deliver actionable insights through performance metrics, KPIs, and executive-level dashboards.
  • Partner with audit and compliance teams to ensure regulatory and cybersecurity alignment.
  • Act as the key escalation point, driving resolution of program blockers and leading change management.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Prior experience working with Finance and HR organizations
  • Familiarity with Finance process areas/operations (e.g., Quote to Cash, Accounting) and HR areas / operations (Hire to retire, compensation etc.)
  • Combination of program management and delivery experience in large-scale Finance and HR Transformation, with knowledge of detailed design, implementation, and project management methodologies, as well as change management approaches.
  • Outstanding collaboration skills to build relationships and provide ongoing clarity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to summarize complex project and program updates to key themes, risks, and actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to shifting priorities, handle and prioritize competing responsibilities, and deliver incremental value.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, risk management, and audit frameworks.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience, including 3+ years leading strategic enterprise programs/portfolios.
  • Proven track record driving million-dollar initiatives with Agile/Waterfall expertise.
  • Exceptional strategic communication and senior leadership influencing capabilities.
  • Advanced mastery of Jira, Tableau, Confluence, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Certifications

  • PMP (Required)
  • PgMP, PfMP, SAFe Agilist, or CSM (Preferred)
  • ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, or cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) (Advantageous)

The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $165,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, relevant experience, and work location. Please note this range reflects base salary and does not include incentive compensation or potential equity grants. We also offer a comprehensive and highly competitive benefits package.
