About Us

Rho is the modern banking platform built for the AI era. Startups and growth-stage companies can open accounts in minutes, issue cards, manage expenses, pay bills, and close the books – all in one connected platform backed by real human support.

About the Role

At Rho, we seek to attract, develop and retain extraordinarily talented people. We believe that who we hire is central to what we can accomplish. As our Talent Partner, your job will be to uphold that exceptional standard and refine the infrastructure that enables us to hire great people.

You will own your funnels end-to-end, improve our Talent operating rhythm, and leverage AI as a force-multiplier. Our People function has already made significant inroads embedding AI into their workflows and we empower every member of the team to be a builder.

This role reports directly to Rho’s VP of People & Talent and is based out Rho's NYC, SF, or SLC office, 5 days a week.

What You’ll Do

Build relationships with the best talent in the tech ecosystem and find creative ways to connect with people.

Focus on quality over quantity. We know that a lean team of A+ talent is infinitely better than a large team of B-players.

Strengthen our talent brand: Partner with marketing to run events, brainstorm

Develop rigorous hiring processes across the business and advise hiring teams on building better searches.

Treat recruiting like half art, half science: Find creative ways to position Rho before the strongest operators in the business; A/B test messaging; take a human-first approach.

Obsess over our metrics and beating them, all the time.

Go where you are needed. Everyone at Rho goes beyond their job description - whether it's hiring for a G&A role or guiding someone to their interview room, this role is no exception.

What You Bring

  • 5 or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience

  • A passion for experimentation and craft: you multiply your leverage with AI, try new tools, and refuse to stop until you get it right.

  • Experience operating in high-accountability environments (startups, fintech, financial services, or similarly rigorous orgs).

  • High ownership and accountability—you take responsibility for getting the job done.

  • Strong knowledge of the talent market—where to find excellent builders, and how to speak their language.

  • Operational excellence—you know how to run a disciplined search and coach hiring managers along the way.

  • Clear, persuasive communication and storytelling skills.

  • A bias toward action and sense of ownership.

Our people are our most valuable asset. Our target compensation range for this role is:

  • NYC: $120,000 - $220,000

  • Salt Lake City: $90,000 - $156,000

with variation based on relevant experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, comprehensive healthcare benefits, and paid time off.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
