Role Overview

As the Lead Technical Product Manager for Live Technology, you will report to the Live Technology Vertical Owner and partner closely with engineering, product, analytics, and operations leaders to define and execute the roadmap for our core live technology systems. 

This position bridges platform strategy, data-driven analysis, and execution discipline. As a senior individual contributor, you will link infrastructure, disaster recovery, and studio productivity initiatives to tangible player impact and business growth, ensuring our technical efforts remain focused on high-impact objectives.

You are responsible for driving KPIs across our technology stack, leveraging operational judgment to prioritize workstreams and aligning stakeholders through transparent success metrics and delivery plans.


What You Will Do

Partner with technical, product, and production leadership to drive the Live Technology vision. You will:

  • Partner with the Live Technology Vertical Owner to define and drive the vertical vision, strategy, goals, and roadmap
  • Translate complex technical, operational, and studio needs into clear product direction and executable plans
  • Own vertical-level KPIs, success metrics, rollout plans, and investment measurement
  • Use data, product judgment, and technical fluency to identify high-value opportunities and guide prioritization
  • Lead product definition across studio productivity, live operations, platform reliability, scalability, and disaster recovery
  • Prioritize and deliver high-impact platform initiatives in partnership with Engineering, Product, Production, Quality, and Analytics
  • Connect technical strategy and investment decisions to measurable product, player, and business outcomes
  • Align stakeholders on priorities, trade-offs, risks, and roadmap decisions through clear, proactive communication
  • Serve as the bridge between development teams and internal users, ensuring clarity of vision, requirements, and expected impact
  • Own multiple concurrent workstreams with strong execution discipline and end-to-end accountability
  • Champion developer productivity, operational excellence, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Support incident response by enabling clear communication, structured coordination, and post-incident analysis that drives durable improvements

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading technical product management for game development platforms, live technology, or large-scale software systems 
  • A champion of engineering culture and a strong driver of communication between technical domains and product
  • Strong understanding of technical product management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Strong technical understanding of cloud platforms and modern backend architectures, with the ability to collaborate effectively on scalable, distributed systems. Experience with game engines such as Unity and cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Curious about emerging AI tools and technologies, with a mindset of thoughtfully exploring how they can improve productivity, streamline workflows, and help teams deliver better outcomes.

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
