As a Lead Wireless/RF Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of advanced wireless/RF systems and products. Your expertise will ensure that Honeywell remains at the forefront of technological advancements in this field. You will be responsible for system-level analysis and optimization, enabling the development of cutting-edge wireless products that meet the needs of our customers. Your collaboration with customers to understand their requirements and provide innovative solutions will strengthen our relationships and drive customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will impact the advancement of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and connected products, enabling smarter and more efficient buildings and systems. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the organization and its customers, driving innovation and ensuring the successful implementation of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of wireless/RF engineers
  • Design and develop wireless/RF systems and products
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to cross functional teams
  • Conduct system level analysis and optimization
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and provide innovative solutions
  • Stay updated with the latest wireless/RF technologies and industry trends

Report to: Director of Engineering

Work location: San Jose, CA

Work shift: M-F, 9/80 after 90 days

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in wireless RF engineering
  • Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems and RF design principles
  • Proficiency in simulation and analysis tools
  • Experience with wireless protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Salary Range: $158,000 - $199,000. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base bay. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or an individual who has protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
