ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Demand Generation Leader, Americas to drive marketing strategy and execution across the region. This role is essential to building brand awareness, generating demand, and accelerating pipeline growth for Benchling’s solutions. You will develop and lead integrated marketing programs—spanning field marketing, regional campaigns, digital tactics, and more—that align with regional sales objectives and drive measurable business outcomes.
As a player-coach, you will lead and mentor a small high-performing field marketing team while also being hands-on in executing key initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in demand generation and field marketing within enterprise B2B SaaS, along with experience managing and developing teams. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, applying a data-driven approach to decision-making and collaborating closely with Sales, SDRs, and the broader marketing organization to drive business outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional marketing strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth across AMERS.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a regional marketing team, instilling a high-performance, metrics-driven culture.
  • Drive execution of multi-channel campaigns across digital, tradeshows, owned events, webinars, and partner channels to support pipeline goals.
  • Partner with Field, Global Demand Generation, Content Marketing, and Product Marketing teams to create tailored marketing programs that resonate with target personas in AMERS.
  • Plan and manage field marketing programs such as events, executive roundtables, and trade shows, ensuring alignment with regional objectives.
  • Leverage marketing analytics and attribution models to measure program performance, optimize campaign effectiveness, and provide data-driven insights to stakeholders.
  • Own the marketing relationship with sales leaders, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication to drive shared pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Oversee and manage the regional field marketing budget, ensuring investments align with business priorities and deliver measurable results and business impact.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8 + years of experience in demand generation, field marketing, or integrated marketing within a B2B technology company (life sciences experience not required but desirable).
  • Proven ability to plan and execute full-funnel marketing programs, combining field, digital, and partner marketing.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with at least 2 years of people management -  track record of managing, mentoring, and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Deep understanding of sales cycles, pipeline dynamics, and buyer journeys in complex enterprise environments. Significant experience in collaborating with sales leaders and teams to drive joint success.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using marketing performance data to drive optimization and growth.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, and related analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to execute campaigns while managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and optimizing spend for maximum impact.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
