Our Ideal Candidate

They have an “all-in” disposition towards work, understanding that we are a fast-paced, high-growth organization with evolving priorities. They can excel at both independent tasks and collaborative work, leading with clear and candid communication. At Hone Health, we are on a mission to create a world where age is no longer a limitation. We believe that by empowering individuals to take charge of their health with the right tools, tools that go beyond the capabilities of traditional healthcare, we can help them live their best possible lives, regardless of age.

We’re looking for a Learning and Development Specialist who shares this vision. You’ll start by owning training for our Patient Care Team, from the first day of a new hire’s class through the ramp to full pace and ongoing learning after that. As the company grows, this role can expand into company-wide training and into leading a team of trainers.

About the Role

You’ll be the owner of care team training, end to end. You’ll design and run new hire training, build practice and assessments, track how new hires ramp, and use what you find to close gaps for the wider team. For now, you’re the only trainer. You’ll set the direction, decide what to build first, and see it through without waiting to be told. You’ll work with care team leaders, QA, and Pharmacy Ops. You’ll be measured on how quickly new hires reach full pace and how well gaps get fixed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the care team training program end to end: set the strategy, build and deliver new hire training with practice and assessments, and keep improving it.
  • Track how each new hire is ramping, so we can see who’s on track, who isn’t, and where the gaps are.
  • Use quality audits, performance data, and manager feedback to find training gaps, and build training that closes them.
  • Keep training current as treatments, services, and workflows change.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts (Pharmacy Ops, Clinical, QA) to keep content accurate.
  • Make sure training is ready to run when the business needs a class.

Qualifications

  • Self-driven, with a record of owning a program end to end, from strategy through delivery and improvement.
  • Experience designing and running training for a high-volume support or care team, preferably in healthcare or telemedicine.
  • Experience using performance or quality data to find gaps and measure whether training works.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Proven ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and training tools.
