JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary

Provides support for Molina enterprise-wide employee training facilitation activities. Responsible for delivering structured training programs that support role-based onboarding, upskilling, and reinforcement of operational or soft-skill content. Facilitates learning through classroom instruction, virtual training, and coaching to ensure learners understand and apply information effectively in their roles. Training includes new employee orientation, implementations, partnerships on technical/system initiatives, and optimization efforts.

Essential Job Duties

• Facilitates learning through classroom instruction, virtual training, and coaching. Training activities include new employee orientation, implementations, partnerships on technical/system initiatives, optimization efforts, and ongoing/annual employee training. 
• Facilitates virtual instructor-led training (VILT) sessions while applying adult learning principles. 
• Prepares the learning environment for classroom setup, systems setup, course materials, media, and online learning. 
• Monitors learner engagement, attendance, and participation during training sessions - providing timely feedback to leadership on issues that arise during training sessions. 
• Escalates learner concerns and performance issues to leadership as needed. 
• Collaborates with peers and leadership to support the execution of training plans and schedules. 
• Leverages training feedback and best practices in training delivery/learning concepts to continuously improve training to ensure desired employee learning and performance outcomes are achieved. 
• Reinforces key behaviors through post-training support, coaching, and calibration. 
• Provides feedback on course materials and activities to the instructional design team for improvement opportunities. 
• Collaborates with leaders, team members, subject matter experts, and other key stakeholders to ensure that learning content/development meets desired training objectives and is delivered timely.

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in training, education, development, design, training technology, or a related field, including at least 2 years of experience facilitating training in a professional setting, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. 
• Training delivery experience. 
• Demonstrated ability to coach others and improve facilitator performance. 
• Familiarity with adult learning theory and learner-centered facilitation. 
• Experience using virtual delivery tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams). 
• Experience organizing/preparing courses for in person or virtual learning. 
• Ability to multi-task and meet project deadlines. 
• Relationship building skills. 
• Ability to work with minimal supervision. 
• Strong verbal, written, active listening, and presentation skills. 
• Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

•Active membership or certification through the Association for Talent Development, such as Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD), or Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD). 
•Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development in the learning and development field.
