Overview of the role

The Linguistic Quality Manager is responsible for devising and maintaining linguistic quality standards. They will manage quality processes and ensure high quality of services and digital tools through training and guiding the contingent workforce (Linguistic Data Specialists), who execute linguistic assignments and tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support contingent workforce operations
  • Monitor and assess the quality of tools and services and take appropriate action based on findings
  • Develop and continuously improve internal processes and workflows
  • Act as a linguistic consultant for other teams 
  • Supervise linguistic data projects
  • Support other linguistic tasks where needed

Skills and Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate:

You have…

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Linguistics or a related field, or 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Native proficiency in Spanish; professional proficiency in English
  • In-depth knowledge of Spanish writing conventions and linguistics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Process and/or project management experience

You are…

  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Collaborative and excited to work with an international team (most colleagues will be in Eastern Standard Time or Central European Standard Time)
  • [Optional but preferred] Tech-savvy, with experience in computational linguistics, machine learning, and/or natural language processing

This role is eligible for hire in the United States.
We are a virtual-first company and have employees dispersed throughout the United States, Canada, Netherlands, Germany & India. We have a market-based pay structure that varies by location. The base pay for this position is dependent on multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed below. You may also be eligible to participate in our bonus program and may be offered an equity award, benefits, and other types of compensation.

California Pay Range

$71,000$128,000 USD

In accordance with Colorado law, the base salary for this role if filled within Colorado is as follows. 

Colorado Pay Range

$71,000$108,000 USD

In accordance with New York law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York is as follows.

New York Pay Range

$71,000$121,000 USD

In accordance with Washington law, the base salary for this role if filled within Washington is as follows.

Washington Pay Range

$71,000$115,000 USD

In accordance with Illinois law, the base salary for this role if filled within Canada is as Illinois.
