About Zipline

Zipline is the world’s largest and most experienced drone delivery service. We are on a mission to serve all humans equally by ensuring access to food, medicine and essential goods anytime, anywhere. We design, build, and operate the world’s largest autonomous logistics system, delivering critical supplies quickly and reliably. Today, Zipline operates on four continents, makes a delivery somewhere in the world every 30 seconds, and has completed millions of deliveries to date, including blood, vaccines, medical supplies, food, and retail products.

Our customers include the world’s largest and most prominent healthcare systems, governments, retailers, restaurants and global businesses who rely on us to save lives, reduce emissions, increase economic opportunity, and provide delivery from point A to point B as fast as possible. The drone is only 15% of what we’ve built to enable seamless, reliable, global operations.

Our system strengthens supply chains, reduces congestion, and gives people time back. With more than 140 million commercial autonomous miles safely flown, Zipline is redefining access to healthcare, consumer products, and food across the globe.

We operate at a global scale and are looking for practical problem solvers who thrive on real-world challenges and rapid growth. Our team is motivated by building systems that have a direct, meaningful impact on people’s lives and by scaling the future of logistics. We are seeking people who sculpt from first principles, enjoy facing adversity, and can do the impossible at record breaking speeds.

About You and The Role

Zipline moves aircraft, service parts, and operational equipment to the teams and sites that keep delivery operations running. As an Outbound Logistics Specialist, you will own the final steps inside our facility: turning released orders into accurate, documented, on-time carrier handoffs. You will work hands-on across warehouse execution, inventory systems, packaging, and carrier coordination. Your work protects hardware traceability, inventory integrity, and operational readiness for field operations, maintenance teams, test sites, suppliers, and customers.

What You'll Do

• Own finished-goods, service-parts, test, and operational shipments from order release through carrier handoff and system closure.
• Pick, stage, and verify part numbers, quantities, serial or lot controls, configuration requirements, destinations, and committed ship dates.
• Package high-value and sensitive hardware to prevent damage and meet internal, carrier, and destination requirements.
• Prepare accurate packing lists, labels, bills of lading, and supporting shipment records with complete traceability.
• Coordinate parcel, courier, and freight pickups; communicate shipment readiness and status to internal teams and logistics partners.
• Complete timely ERP/WMS transactions and resolve inventory or order discrepancies before shipment release.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Maintenance, Customer Operations, and Transportation to align priorities and recover fulfillment risks early.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in outbound shipping, fulfillment, warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling.
• Experience using an ERP, WMS, or comparable inventory system for order execution and inventory transactions.
• Working knowledge of parcel, courier, and freight processes, including packaging, shipment documents, tracking, and carrier handoffs.
• Careful judgment and attention to detail when handling time-sensitive, serialized, high-value, or configuration-controlled material.
• Clear written and verbal communication with operations, technical teams, and external transportation partners.
• Ability to work onsite in warehouse and production environments and meet approved physical requirements for the role.
• Flexibility to support shipment cutoffs, quarter-end demand, and critical operational needs while maintaining accuracy and traceability.

What Else You Need To Know

The starting cash range for this role is $109,000-$130,800. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role.
