Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Operate and maintain CNC and manual machining equipment to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.

* Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate machining processes.

* Perform quality inspections and measurements to verify conformance to specifications and maintain documentation.

* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and resolve technical issues.

* Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

* Demonstrated experience in the development of machining processes, including fixturing and tooling design and selection.

* Able to produce parts with a high degree of difficulty and tight tolerances. 

* Must be willing to machine graphite while also having experience with standard materials (aluminum, steels, plastics).

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The hourly salary range for this position is $41.34 - $51.92. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • * Minimum of 4 years of machining or similar experience.
  • * CAD/CAM experience with ACAD software and MasterCam.
  • * Ability to perform basic precision measurements on parts using inspection tools including calipers, micrometers and various gauges.
  • * Prototype experience going from a drawing to completed part (Mastercam file setup, fixturing, CNC setup & machining, verifying dimensions/finish).
  • * Manual mill and lathe experience.
  • * Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
  • * This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a   “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
  • * Experience with Haas/Fanuc style controls.
  • * Minimum 2 years in the proper application and interpretation of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to ASME Y14.5 standard.
