The Manager of Business Operations will be a strategic and operational force within the Analytics Center of Excellence Business Operations and Strategy team. This role is central to driving the rhythm of business, accelerating performance, and building scalable processes that support Salesforce Analytics' growth objectives.

You'll bring a data-driven mindset and structured problem-solving approach to tackle complex operational challenges. You will partner closely with cross functional teams across Product, Finance, and Sales to turn strategy into execution. You will manage the day-to-day execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring business requirements are met and risks are mitigated.

Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead 1–2 key operational projects simultaneously, maintaining responsibility for timelines, data analysis, and implementation.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Salesforce (Sales, Product Operations, Finance, Deal Desk) to ensure operational alignment and data integrity.

  • Performance Reporting & Insights: Develop business cases and status reports for leadership to track the effectiveness of new process implementations.

  • Process Optimization: Identify gaps in current workflows and data processes, delivering actionable recommendations that improve operational efficiency and scalability.

  • Rhythm of Business: Drive the cadence of key GTM operational processes ensuring consistent execution and accountability across teams. 
     

Required Skills and Experience
  • Educated: Bachelor’s degree 

  • Experience: 5+ years of related experience in operations, project management, or a similar role within a technology company.

  • Project Lead: 3+ years of experience leading project workstreams and managing cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Analytical: Strong proficiency in data analysis and using data to drive operational decisions.

  • Execution-Oriented: Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver projects on schedule.

  • Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to mid-level management.
     

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Proficiency in Tableau or similar data visualization tools.

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and ecosystem.

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or PMP.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $123,100 - $186,300 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $147,400 - $202,600 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
