The RTX Enterprise Services Finance Center of Excellence (CoE) organization is seeking an individual to join its Business Process team in support of the Next Generation Estimate at Completion Data Integration Tool (EDIT+).

What You Will Do

The Enterprise Services Finance CoE is focused on delivering world class finance solutions to the RTX enterprise. This role will be involved in all aspects of the estimating at completion (EAC) process, from partnering with businesses to define requirements, developing and testing solutions, change management and after installation support.

Additional responsibilities include supporting DT SOX (formerly Internal Controls Excellence) and external audit requirements on this Tier 1, Sarbanes-Oxley designated revenue recognition application. The individual’s work product will have a direct and immediate impact on RTX’s ability to accurately create, manage and process compliant EAC artifacts that support project booking rate justification on existing business. This position partners closely with Business Financial Controllers, Corporate Controllers office, the Enterprise Services Digital team, Business Process teams and the Program Management organization helping to deliver accurate, timely and compliant Estimates at completion.

  • Be an integral part of a team teams consisting of 10-12 business and digital project participants

  • Will be responsible for ensuring the system capabilities are clearly identified and that the test approach and test scripting will verify compliance to requirements.

  • Support the project customer requirements gathering, change management (CM), test management, and user acceptance portion of the project

  • Review and approve all project artifacts for accuracy and completeness from a functional perspective.

  • Be a member of the functional team and work with the solution architects to ensure that the projects approach will meet the end user requirements and that they are well documented.

  • Ensure that the change management approach and training material are adequate to support a diverse user community.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

  • Strong experience with enterprise software such as SAP/BW, as well as Finance Policies and related program processes

  • The candidate shall have a broad understanding and real-world knowledge of Financial Processes and Enterprise Systems landscape that spans the product life cycle as it relates to Finance including pre-award and post award execution activities

  • Prior strong experience in EAC development and use of the EDIT+ Tool.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Prior strong experience in EDIT+ Tool development and testing

  • Prior experience with program controls and EVMS practices strongly preferred

  • Previous experience using the following software systems/packages; SAP, SAP-BW, SAP EV, MFG –EV, PMX, MS Project, Rplan and EAC EDIT Tool’s.

  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Revenue Recognition standards

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with all levels of customers/management.

  • The candidate should be self-directed, pro-active, motivated, enjoy working in a changing environment and have a positive, entrepreneurial attitude

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong sense of commitment to meeting our promises and quality of services

  • Strong Project Management, Financial and Analytic skills

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
