About the Role

Motive is seeking a Sales Manager, Commercial – Mexico (CMRL) to lead and scale our commercial sales segment in one of our fastest-growing markets. In this role, you’ll drive new business growth across small and mid-sized customers, building a high-performing, metrics-driven team focused on velocity, consistency, and execution.

As a commercial sales leader, you’ll play a key role in expanding Motive’s footprint across Mexico by optimizing pipeline generation, improving conversion rates, and coaching reps to win in a competitive, fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for ensuring your team effectively communicates the value of Motive’s solutions and delivers meaningful outcomes to a broad base of customers.

This is a high-impact role suited for a hands-on leader who thrives in high-volume sales environments. You are data-driven, operationally strong, and passionate about developing talent while driving predictable revenue growth.

This is a remote role based in Mexico, with regular travel required to customer sites and internal meetings.

What You'll Do
  • Own and drive commercial new business acquisition across Mexico, with full accountability for pipeline generation, forecasting, and revenue performance
  • Lead a high-velocity sales motion, ensuring strong top-of-funnel activity, efficient deal cycles, and consistent quota attainment
  • Hire, develop, and coach a team of Commercial Account Executives, instilling best practices in discovery, objection handling, and closing
  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly performance cadences, including pipeline reviews, deal inspections, and forecast accuracy
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Development, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to improve funnel conversion and GTM execution
  • Optimize and localize sales processes, playbooks, and messaging for the Mexican commercial segment
  • Maintain a hands-on approach in key deals, supporting reps in advancing opportunities and closing business
  • Build a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement within the team
  • Leverage data and tools (Salesforce, Gong, etc.) to identify trends, diagnose gaps, and improve team performance
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with 2+ years managing or leading high-performing commercial or SMB sales teams
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quotas in high-volume, fast-paced sales environments
  • Strong coaching and people development skills, with a passion for building winning teams
  • Data-driven mindset with experience managing pipeline health, conversion metrics, and forecast accuracy
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-growth environment
  • Deep understanding of Mexico’s business landscape and buying behavior in the commercial segment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence teams
  • Experience in industries such as transportation, logistics, construction, or industrial technology is a plus
  • Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, Slack, and other modern sales tech stacks
