ParentSquare is rooted in the belief that when families are involved, students thrive. We're founder-led, started in 2011 by a parent who saw firsthand how much stronger classrooms become when schools and families work together, and making that partnership possible for every family is still our mission today.

As the market leader in K-12 family engagement, we help schools reach the parents and guardians of more than 22 million students in 190+ languages through the channels families prefer, including app, text, email, and phone. Our all-in-one platform brings together communications, attendance, forms, payments, and websites to simplify how schools and families connect and take action. ParentSquare Intelligence, the AI and data layer built into ParentSquare, turns engagement and attendance data into insights that guide proactive outreach, so districts can offer families the right support at the right time. Over 42,000 schools in all 50 states use ParentSquare to build trust with families and save staff time, and it consistently ranks among the top five free apps in the U.S.

The ParentSquare app consistently ranks among the top five free apps in the U.S., and we’ve been named to the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies four years in a row and to the Inc. Best Workplaces list for the past two years. We’re a diverse, remote-first team that cares about each other, and about the schools and families they serve. Sound like your kind of place? We’d love to have you help us build what’s next.

Who we’re looking for:

Every morning, attendance teams across the country open a list of students who are missing too much school and decide which families to reach first. Nearly 1 in 4 students nationwide is chronically absent, and those missed days affect learning, district funding, and long-term student success. ParentSquare Attendance Plus gives those teams tiered attendance insights, family outreach, and intervention tracking in one place, inside the platform their district already uses. It earned Tech & Learning's Best of 2025 and is one of the fastest-growing product lines at ParentSquare.

ParentSquare is seeking a Manager, Customer Success to build the customer success practice for Attendance Plus as it scales. This is a hands-on, player-coach role: you'll carry your own book of strategic districts while hiring and coaching a small team of Customer Success Managers, and you'll build the playbook as you go rather than inheriting one. The engagement model, success plans, and results you build will set the standard for everything that follows.

Above all, you'll bring our two permissions to play:

  • Humility. We're heads-down builders who'd rather let the work speak. Here, that means putting your team's wins ahead of your own, asking for help early, and treating every district conversation as a chance to learn what's really working.
  • Passion for our mission. Behind every account on your book are students who are missing school. You'll care about moving attendance for them, not just the health score, and help your team see the same thing.
This role will include:
  • Carrying a book of strategic Attendance Plus districts, owning their outcomes, relationships, and renewals end to end
  • Hiring, coaching, and developing a small team of CSMs into trusted advisors to district leadership
  • Designing the Attendance Plus customer success model: onboarding, engagement cadence, success plans, and playbooks
  • Driving early attendance outcomes with our first districts and turning those wins into references and case studies
  • Owning renewal health across the portfolio and stepping in early on at-risk accounts
  • Partnering with Sales on expansion grounded in real adoption and demonstrated value
  • Bringing what you hear from districts back to Product to shape how Attendance Plus evolves
  • Setting up the account planning, reporting, and HubSpot practices the team runs on
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
  • 5+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or a related SaaS role
  • 2+ years leading and developing a customer-facing team
  • Comfort building process from scratch, without an existing playbook to follow
  • Experience owning executive-level relationships with senior stakeholders
  • A track record of driving adoption, retention, and expansion, with results to point to
  • Strong coaching, communication, and organizational skills, and ease working across teams

Bonus Points For:

  • K-12 or EdTech experience, especially working with district leadership
  • Familiarity with MTSS (multi-tiered systems of support), student attendance, or chronic absenteeism work
  • Experience launching or scaling customer success for a new product line
Why Join Us?

At ParentSquare, we believe in winning together and building a product that truly serves schools, educators, and families. We value transparency, collaboration, and an entrepreneurial spirit, and we look for team members who share these values. You'll have the opportunity to build the customer success practice for one of our newest products, influence a fast-growing company, and make a meaningful impact on K-12 education.

The perks of working for us are great! You'll get your foot in the door as our company continues to grow. We're big believers in work-life balance and provide:

  • Employer-paid health insurance (including dependent coverage)
  • An employer-matched 401K retirement savings program from day 1
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Stock options
  • Health + wellness reimbursements
  • Generous PTO
  • 15 paid holidays, including your birthday!

As a fully remote team, we'll make sure you have all the tools and equipment you need to make your home office a place where you can thrive.

We're an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status. We are committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace in compliance with applicable state laws.

The salary range for this role will be $75,000-$110,000 DOE.
