Position Summary
The Manager of the Credentials Verification Office (CVO) is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the organization’s provider credentialing and verification activities. This role ensures that all credentialing processes are performed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with applicable regulatory, accreditation, and payer requirements.In addition, this position will provide flexible support to cover absences or peak demands within Medical Staff Services as assigned and in consultation with the CVO System Director.
Responsibilities :
- Administers personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring recommendations, performance appraisals, orientation, and time keeping.
- Collects data and prepares related summary reports for medical staff and organization management as requested.
- Oversight of primary source verification and credentialing decision
- Assists with implementation of departmental policies and procedures
- Oversees CVO department functions
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
- Certified by National Association of Medical Staff Services CPCS and maintenance of current certification, or achieve certification within two years of hire
- 5 years of experience in professional or technical role/function. 3 years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity.
- Credentialing database experience required

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $94,889.60 - $136,572.80 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.Associated benefit information can be viewed here.
