The Manager of Deal Management oversees complex customer agreements, manages deal modeling, contributes to financial strategies, and ensures effective communication and negotiation.

Title and Summary
Manager, Deal Management (Background: FP&A │ Strategy │ M&A)
The Deal Management team supports business development (BD) and account teams in structuring deals for new business opportunities with new and existing customers.
This role is responsible for the establishment and management of strategic and complex customer business agreements (covering issuing, acquiring, merchant, pre-paid, loyalty and non BAU deal flows).
Key Responsabilities:• Ensures deals incentivize the appropriate behavior while safeguarding Mastercard assets.• Reviews final model and business cases with Management and seeks internal approval. This includes (but is not limited to) benchmark against similar proposals, identification of risks, discussion on unique issues (e.g., other impacted areas of MC, unique characteristics of portfolio, proposed sales strategy). • Ensure through organizational planning the consistent execution of agreements by identifying and working with all required stakeholders• Together with the BD and business/account leads, manage the pipeline deal modelling activities and related various reporting• Contribute to LAC other finance activities such as the development and implementation of long-term strategies to enhance MasterCard profitability and competitive leverage.• Support ad hoc and/or regional strategic initiatives aiming at streamlining/enhancing the deal approval process and assist in providing consultative support, thought leadership, strategy, innovative ideas and approaches to senior management.• Coordinates weekly deal committee meetings with functional leads critical in deal process.• Assists in resolution of issues raised by customer regarding the incentive offer (may result in direct discussions with issuer or customer). This includes creating impact analyses of issuer requests, reviewing with Management.• Provides expertise on many cross functional work teams (e.g., assist in quantifying revenue impact for certain initiatives, etc)
All about you:• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or equivalent experience in financial analysis and/or deal management.• Bilingual (English-Portuguese), Spanish is a plus• Strong communication skills: written and oral (both in english and portuguese) - ability to communicate effectively in a clear and concise manner at all levels of the organization. • Strong commercial and strategic focus• Expert Analytical skills and proficient in excel / highly skilled in modeling• Strong negotiating and influencing skills • Ability to digest commercial agreements and attribute financial outcomes to alternative outcomes.
