About Reunion

Reunion is transforming the way clean energy projects are financed. Since 2024, our tax credit transfer business has partnered with major corporations to unlock over $8 billion in clean energy investment, including some of the industry's largest transactions. Our compliance business is building disruptive software for developers to track operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

Reunion has built a consistently profitable company, focused on building for the long term. We raised a small seed round of funding in 2023, and have since repaid our investors in full. We do not have pressure from VCs or outside investors to chase short-term targets; we have the autonomy to focus on building a great long-term business. Reunion's laser focus on solving tough problems has resulted in repeat customers and strong profitability since 2024.

We have worked hard to build a mission-driven company culture that values creativity, collaboration, excellence, and speed without sacrificing fun. Our talented team includes experienced leaders from SunEdison, SolarCity, Tesla, GoodLeap, and other clean energy companies; we are consistently amazed by what our 30+ person team of experts can accomplish.

We look for curious, smart, and kind colleagues with an entrepreneurial streak (we have quite a few ex-entrepreneurs on our team). Reunion is a great place to learn from energy finance experts and play a critical role in deploying clean energy technologies such as battery storage, nuclear, manufacturing, solar, and wind.

About the Role

In 2025, we launched Reunion PWA, a software solution that helps developers comply with prevailing wage and apprenticeship (PWA) requirements to unlock the full value of clean energy tax credits. Reunion PWA is rapidly gaining traction in the market, and we’re growing our team to accelerate adoption and expand to additional compliance offerings. Join us in the fight against climate change by helping renewable energy developers build faster!

We’re looking for a high-performing Manager or Director to help drive adoption of Reunion PWA. In this role, you’ll take ownership of early-stage sales activity—including outbound prospecting, qualification, and demoing—while supporting opportunities through the rest of the sales cycle.

This is not your typical BD role. We're seeking someone with deep experience who’s ready to execute sales plans and develop the sales process to successfully reach customers at scale. You'll work directly with clean energy developers, EPCs, and project owners, and play a key role in shaping our go-to- market approach.

In addition to core business development responsibilities, this role includes strategic work on our emerging FEOC (Foreign Entity of Concern) product offering, building a cross-sell motion between Reunion’s tax credit placement business and the Reunion PWA / FEOC business, and developing go-to-market strategies for emerging customer segments.

What You’ll Do

Strategic sales: Build a plan for each target account, then go out and close it.

  • Build account plans for developers, project owners, and financial parties across solar, wind, storage, and other clean energy technologies. Identify who decides, what they care about, and how Reunion PWA fits their portfolio.

  • Run the full sales cycle: outbound prospecting, inbound follow-up, discovery, demos, and closing.

  • Sell on your expertise. Know PWA and FEOC requirements well enough to speak credibly with developers, tax equity investors, and credit buyers, and turn new Treasury and DOE guidance into reasons for customers to act.

  • Find accounts that need both PWA compliance and tax credit placement, and win them as one relationship.

  • Represent Reunion at conferences, webinars, and industry events.

Building the sales machine: We’re early, and you’ll help design how we sell at scale.

  • Build the cross-sell motion between our tax credit marketplace and Reunion PWA: define the overlap in ideal customers, set up lead routing, write the playbooks, and track results.

  • Write and refine our sales playbooks so new reps can ramp quickly.

  • Set the standard for CRM hygiene, pipeline reviews, and forecasting.

  • Test new customer segments and channels with Marketing and Product, run pilots, and scale what works.

  • Feed what you hear from customers back into product positioning and pricing.

What You’ll Need
  • 4-7 years (Manager) or 8 to 10 years (Director) of B2B SaaS sales or business development experience, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment, with a strong track record of meeting targets

  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment

  • Proven track record as an "entrepreneurial seller"-- you aren't just waiting for a playbook to be handed to you. You have the strategic sense to develop a plan and go execute on it

  • Experience shaping go-to-market strategy for new segments or channels, including segmentation and outreach tactics

  • Proficiency in using AI tools to improve productivity, research, sales processes, and communication

Nice to Haves
  • Background working in or with early-stage startups

  • Experience selling into the renewable energy, construction, or compliance sectors

  • Familiarity with IRA tax credit programs and prevailing wage requirements

Why Join Us?
  • Help scale one of the most exciting and impactful clean energy finance companies

  • Work directly with experienced founders and a top-tier team

  • Competitive compensation and early-stage equity

  • Benefits including full medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and partial coverage for dependents

  • Generous 401K match, travel to company offsites 2-3x per year to meet teammates in-person, flexible PTO plan

Note

Reunion is an equal opportunity employer. If you’re excited about helping accelerate the energy transition, even if your background doesn’t check every box, we encourage you to apply.
