Role Overview:
We are looking for a Manager, Laser NPI, to own design, manufacture, integration, validation, and
qualification of lasers and amplifiers across business verticals

What you'll do:

  • Own roadmap, execution, validation, and delivery for cutting edge laser and amplifier products across
    business verticals
  • Lead a team of engineers to transition lasers and amplifiers from development to production
  • Develop engineering requirement documents for a variety of product lines to ensure devices meet
    required performance, yield, and cost metrics
  • Lead integration of IIIV devices into product by working across teams to develop packaging and
    integration based on BKM
  • Lead design for performance to specs, manufacturing, reliability, test – DFx methodologies
  • Own the detailed characterization of IIIV devices to provide iterative design feedback
  • Design and develop integrated multi-wavelength lasers for various applications
  • Own definition of test strategy & oversee implementation for validation, reliability, NPI, and
    production
  • Define lot strategy and splits to improve performance of base designs developed in R&D
  • Own the NPI and transition to high volume production of cutting edge IIIV device with high yield and
    low cost
  • Work with internal and external design development teams to develop devices that meet required
    product specifications

What you have:

  • 5+ years of experience with leading teams and delivering cutting edge products
  • Demonstrated experience with 4 or more of the following – NPI strategy, IIIV design, IIIV process,
    vendor management, qualification/reliability, validation
  • Experience working cross-functionally to enable data-driven decision making
  • Strong presentation, communication skills, and results oriented
  • Experience with working with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting edge products
