We're looking for a Manager, Intelligence and Risk Analysis to join the Global Security Organization at Snap!

What you’ll do:

Program Leadership

  • Lead and direct the Intelligence and Risk Analysis (I&R) team to deliver high-quality, timely, and actionable global intelligence, supporting the safety and security of Snap's staff, assets, operations, and reputation worldwide.

  • Develop and maintain standards, policies, and procedures related to corporate security risk intelligence tradecraft best practices.

  • Cultivate internal partnerships with teams, decision makers, and leaders across all levels to support intelligence-led decision making and influence corporate strategy.

  • Partner closely with leaders in the Global Security Operations Center, Crisis and Emergency Management, and Regional Security Operations teams to align intelligence activities with prevention, preparation, and response capabilities.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with external intelligence vendors, industry partners, and public sector partners to enhance threat awareness and response readiness.

  • Improve intelligence program maturity via performance metrics, industry benchmarking, and applying corporate security intelligence best practices.

Global Security Risk Intelligence

  • Oversee all phases of the geopolitical risk intelligence cycle to support regional security operations, crisis management, executive protection, event security, travel security, and due diligence requirements, among other areas.

  • Provide direction, oversight, and quality assurance over a wide range of analytical products, including but not limited to flash updates, risk briefs, strategic risk forecasts, threat/vulnerability/risk assessments, country and city risk profiles, and indications and early warning reporting, among others.

  • In partnership with the leaders of the Global Security Operations Center and the Crisis Management teams, enhance Global Security’s early warning capabilities by integrating and operationalizing intelligence requirements, triggers, and indicators. 

Protective Intelligence and Threat Management

  • Oversee protective intelligence and threat management activities which include the ongoing detection, assessment, escalation, and management of threats and other concerning activity directed at Snap’s staff, assets, and operations globally. 

  • Manage intelligence support for sensitive and complex safety and security investigations, in partnership with other Global Security teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Develop, maintain, and leverage relationships with public sector partners for threat and suspicious activity reporting, information sharing, and threat management.

  • Ensure intelligence resources and capabilities are appropriately and effectively leveraged for enhanced due diligence requirements.

  • Support the workplace violence prevention program with intelligence and investigative support.

Critical Asset Protection

  • Lead efforts to continually identify and assess Snap’s most critical assets, and ensure an intelligence-led approach to mitigating threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Drive the evolution of Global Security’s insider risk management efforts by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to formalize and streamline diverse processes into unified, enterprise-wide mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure intelligence support for proactively identifying supply chain threats and vulnerabilities, providing the actionable insights necessary to support robust supply chain risk mitigation and resilience strategies.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Proven ability to lead an intelligence center of excellence, aligning team strategies with business goals while managing and empowering a high-performing team.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully direct and manage a team of individual contributors.

  • Demonstrated skill in analyzing complex geopolitical, operational, and reputational risks while identifying critical second- and third-order implications.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with experience briefing senior executives and managing stakeholder relationships.

  • Advanced proficiency in structured analytical techniques, OSINT techniques, and research techniques.

  • Deep understanding of global intelligence networks and relationship management with international partners, including government and non-governmental organizations.

  • Calm and decisive leadership under pressure, with extensive experience in leading intelligence support during critical incidents, emergencies, and crisis situations.

  • Deep knowledge of various global security risk management disciplines, including but not limited to physical security operations, security technology, GSOC, crisis management, travel security, event security, and executive protection.

  • A proactive, strategic problem solver capable of setting priorities and taking independent initiative in a growth-oriented landscape.

  • Superior organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously with strict attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or a similar analytical field.

  • 7+ years of focused experience in intelligence analysis, security risk management, threat management, or related disciplines.

  • 2+ years in a leadership or program management role, focused on building and leading intelligence management programs, teams, or functions.

  • Flexibility to work non-traditional schedules including holidays, nights, and weekends to adapt to the evolving global threat environment and the Global Security team’s 24/7 operation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or a similar analytical field.

  • 10+ years of focused experience in intelligence analysis, security risk management, threat management, or related disciplines.

  • 5+ years in a leadership or program management role, focused on building and leading intelligence management programs, teams, or functions.

  • Proven experience leading global intelligence programs in a multinational environment, with a strong focus on cultural relevance and geographic sensitivity.

  • Robust experience managing third-party intelligence vendors.

  • Formal training and/or professional certifications in intelligence, threat management, or risk management disciplines. 

  • Established relationships with external intelligence and law enforcement partners.

  • Current or prior membership with industry associations such as Analyst Roundtable, AIRIP, ASIS, ATAP, OSAC, DSAC, InfraGard, among others.

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $157,000-$235,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $149,000-$223,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $133,000-$200,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
