As Reddit continues to grow, we are looking for a talented leader to build a new Mid-Market Services team in San Francisco—focused on helping B2B advertisers succeed on our platform. Our US Mid-Market Services segment includes businesses across B2B, Tech, Finance, Professional Services, Travel, Education, Healthcare, and more. You’ll build and lead a team of Client Partners and Account Managers to drive both acquisition and same-store growth across this critical segment. This is a unique opportunity to shape a new team within a high-growth, B2B-focused account list that serves as a cornerstone of our sales organization.

Please note that this role is required to work in-person from our San Francisco office 1-2 days per week.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Recruiting, training, and leading a team of top-of-industry Acquisition Client Partners, Same Store Growth Client Partners, Account Managers, and Client Account Executives
  • Building and expanding your organization in smart and profitable ways 
  • Drive your team to exceed established revenue targets
  • Advise sales and product management regarding market opportunities, sales positioning, use of resources, and strategic planning
  • Partner with Marketing to drive new product launches, marketing communications, and further establish Reddit as a leader amongst challenger brands
  • Partner with Sales Ops and Finance to develop financial and operating targets, ensuring alignment with the strategic plan
  • Building and managing senior-level relationships with key clients and agency partners

The right leader will have:

  • At least 1 year of direct people management experience in media sales
  • 8-10 years of experience in media sales
  • Experience leading and building sales teams at dynamic, industry-leading companies, and motivating those teams by connecting their work to top-line business goals
  • Track record of building high-performing teams through mentorship and talent development while attracting new talent
  • Deep functional knowledge and industry expertise including strong understanding of B2B advertising strategy and customer needs
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies specifically for B2B advertisers
  • Experience with direct advertiser sales including negotiations and management of strategic partnerships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience upleveling sales partnerships by accessing senior client stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Embraced a scaled business leader mindset, focused on entrepreneurial ways to delight customers at scale 
  • Passion for Reddit and its incredibly unique audience by understanding the culture, vernacular, and appropriate ways to make brands successful within communities

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and will also be eligible to receive a commission. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is:
$131,300$273,000 USD
