SALARY: $106,400-$126,350, bonus and long term incentive eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:  

The Manager, Premium is the local market owner of field execution as the key connector of our Premium field programs to our wholesaler partners. This position will report to the Senior Commercial Director and will oversee High End and Beyond Beer brands execution at the local level. You will work directly with wholesale partners for market specific objectives including increasing sales execution within accounts through our field sales programs and driving trial with our consumers. In addition, this position will be accountable for managing an assigned geographic region through the effective planning, organizing, directing and execution of sales and marketing plans through the company distributor network and field initiatives. They should spend 3-4 days in the market per week with their respective teams/wholesalers driving our key initiatives with 1 planning day in a home office. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Builds impactful relationships with Wholesaler Management and Region teams.

  • Manages all High End and Beyond Beer programs (Elite Club, MAMBA, etc.) within their assigned territory.

  • Build and present proposals that will contribute to the development of our Beyond Beer and High End brands.

  • Leverages local incentives and local programming initiatives to drive retail execution.

  • Leverages the AOE and BBE Programs within their assigned territory for Beyond Beer and High End brands.

  • Executes key enablers (EDGE, IRIS, BEES, etc.) for Beyond Beer and High End brand execution.

  • Identifies market opportunities (sales, distribution, displays, POCM, pricing, etc.).

  • Presents Beyond Beer and High End performance with Commercial team as well as actionable insights during monthly WPPM.

  • Effectively coordinates and communicates with Commercial team, Wholesalers, and CSO to facilitate the effective development and execution of programs and business initiatives.

  • Establishes distribution, display, feature, promotion, and space management objectives with Commercial, Region, and CSO teams.

  • Manages specific operating systems and standards, for the management of the following; Ordering and Inventory Management, Quality Control, Selling and Merchandising Objectives and Standards, Program Execution Guidelines, Pricing Management, and POCM Material utilization.

  • Identifies leads, gains new business, and grows Beyond Beer and High End brand distribution.

  • Participates in wholesaler trade and S&OP routines to ensure forecasting accuracy and wholesaler POCM orders meet market needs

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management or similar field.

  • 5+ years of sales or marketing experience in beverage/alcohol industry preferred.

  • 2+ years of wholesaler management experience.

  • Certified Beer Server or Certified Cicerone preferred.

  • Familiarity with Power BI, Circana/IRI, BIR, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

  • Advanced knowledge of Craft beer and the brewing process.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to use data to build a sell-in story.

  • Highly creative and able to generate fresh, impactful ideas and see them through to implementation.

  • Proven ability to think and move between strategic and analytical thinking as well as actual execution.

  • Ability to coordinate brand information and communication open effectively internally and externally.

  • Conducts work in a standing and sitting position; job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and light lifting.

  • Job requires the ability to be in physical retail locations, late night activations and travel.
