We are seeking a first line Recruiting Manager to lead the recruiting efforts for our Customer First and Presales teams in North America. In this role, you will oversee a team of recruiters to deliver a technology driven hiring experience for both candidates and hiring teams. This requires someone with a highly data-driven mindsight who can continue to evolve our approach to attracting, hiring and retaining talent.  

The Recruiting Manager will lead a team of technical recruiters responsible for hiring across our more technical GTM teams across the Americas. As a first line leader, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a team of highly productive, technology minded recruiters and holding them accountable to key metrics and hiring goals. You will play a critical role in ensuring a strong experience in attracting top-tier talent to join our teams!

Role

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical recruiters, fostering a culture of data driven excellence and creativity
  • Collaborate with the business leaders and the ecosystem of Finance, Operations and HR Business Partners to align hiring strategies with organizational priorities 
  • In collaboration with this ecosystem develop and align on quarterly hiring targets, enabling the team to successfully deliver on goals
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the recruitment process to ensure a seamless candidate experience for both candidates and hiring teams
  • Track, analyze, and report on recruitment metrics to inform decision-making and demonstrate hiring effectiveness 

Results

  • Proven experience of technical recruiting success, managing a req load and working with all levels of line leaders to attract, hire and retain strong talent
  • Proven experience in both startup and large-scale environments, preferably in a SaaS environment 
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage metrics to improve recruiting strategies 
  • AI mindset with the ability to think creatively and commit to continuous innovation and improvement  
  • Solution oriented with the ability to see potential roadblocks, influence the process and communicate effectively to gain alignment

Relationships

  • Ability to partner with and have influence on the working ecosystem (Finance, Operations and HR) to deliver results and hold accountability
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders as needed

The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:
$152,000$228,000 USD

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington is between:
$136,000$204,000 USD
