About the Role:
CrowdStrike is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Manager of Customer Development to support our rapidly expanding Account Management organization. Leading an elite team of 11 Customer Development Representatives, you will be responsible for driving strategic pipeline generation for our Account Management teams. You prioritize people, processes, creativity, and collaboration while thriving in a high-energy, in-office working environment with cross-functional teams. Your visionary leadership will directly help aspiring CDRs become the next generation of top-performing Account Managers at CrowdStrike.
This is a hybrid role & requires you to be within commuting distance + to work from our state-of-the-art Austin office 3 times a week with our CDR teams.
About the Customer Development Team:
The Customer Development team is an SDR powerhouse for the Account Management organization. They work exclusively with customers and are laser-focused on identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the customer base.
What You’ll Do:
Lead a high-performing team to consistently over-achieve targets and deliver exceptional pipeline quality
Drive CDRs to execute on strategic weekly campaigns, call-out days, and KPIs including daily metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management
Engage with SDRs and managers, sharing cutting-edge best practices in outbound prospecting techniques, including phone, email, social outreach, and use of intent data
Partner with Regional Directors and Managers of Account Managers on territory development, account planning, and weekly/monthly/quarterly updates
Attract, hire, and develop world-class CDR talent
Coach, mentor, and motivate to ensure an elite customer sales development team is in place and understands their crucial role in generating revenue for the company
Provide comprehensive analysis and insights on pipeline creation, lead quality, and team performance to CDR, SDR, and Sales leadership
Collaborate with CDR stakeholders to ensure the team is fully supported to achieve goals i.e., marketing, operations, enablement, etc.
Serve as a bench to the Corporate Sales Account Management teams by coaching & mentoring CDRs and ensuring timely participation in CDR Readiness and Sales Readiness programs
What You’ll Need:
At least 1 year of experience as a manager of frontline sales/SDR team
At least 1 year of closing experience for a technology company preferred
Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding pipeline targets and KPIs
Exceptional EQ skills, practicing active listening and empathy
Advanced experience with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn, 6Sense, and sales dashboards (Tableau, etc.)
Deep passion for coaching your SDRs/CDRs to peak performance
Highly organized with superior problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Possess a growth mindset: fast learner, motivated, and driven
Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
