About the role:

The Manager, Sales Operations, is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for the systems, processes, and insights that power the sales organization's growth. Acting as the primary owner of the sales systems roadmap - from Salesforce administration to the broader sales technology stack - this role ensures the tools and data sales teams rely on are integrated, reliable, and built to scale. Beyond systems ownership, this person partners closely with sales leadership, marketing, finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to shape go-to-market strategy, sales planning, and compensation design, while also driving the reporting and analytics that inform decision-making at every level of the organization. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution - equally comfortable setting direction with senior leadership and rolling up their sleeves in Salesforce.

Key responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership

  • Partner directly with sales leadership to support and execute long-term sales and go-to-market strategy.
  • Serve as the primary owner and directive-setter for the sales systems roadmap - implementation, onboarding, ongoing maintenance, and supporting future-state strategy.
  • Design and implement scalable sales processes and workflows that support business growth.
  • Support the annual partner budget process, sales plan development, and compensation plan structure, partnering with sales leadership and finance to ensure alignment between strategy, targets, and incentives.
  • Partner with marketing, product, finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align sales systems and strategy with company objectives.

Systems & Salesforce Administration

  • Own the administration, optimization, and integration of Salesforce.com and the broader sales technology stack.
  • Ensure CRM and adjacent systems are seamlessly integrated across tools, enabling clean data flow and operational efficiency.
  • Manage new initiatives, campaigns, opportunities, and user administration within Salesforce.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesloft, ZoomInfo/Chorus, Sales Navigator, Brandfolder) that improve team productivity and effectiveness.

Data, Reporting & Analytics

  • Support all internal and external reporting and analytics, including quarterly and annual client/partner review analytics.
  • Facilitate development and maintenance of dashboards of key sales and partner metrics; disseminate findings via regular summaries and presentations.
  • Conduct performance analysis at the initiative level across all sales business segments.
  • Present analysis on trends and identifiable opportunities by Account Manager/partner to sales leadership and other internal stakeholders.
  • Pull and maintain KPIs supporting deck development, sales-vs-goals tracking, asset performance, and evaluation of new initiatives.

Assets, Linking & Sales Enablement

  • Coordinate the sales strategy with the sales infrastructure for sales asset management and linking, ensuring content is organized, accessible, and properly tracked through connected systems.
  • Support the sales strategy through the maintenance of a library of sales collateral and playbooks that support the full sales cycle.
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales enablement, or related roles, including at least 2 years in leadership capacity.
  • Hands-on Salesforce.com administration experience required.
  • Proven track record driving operational excellence and sales effectiveness in a high-growth environment, including ownership of systems strategy end-to-end (implementation through ongoing evolution).
  • Strong expertise across CRM systems and sales enablement/technology tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI dashboard development.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, with emphasis on Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in B2B sales environments, preferably in Benefit Administration, SaaS, technology, or e-commerce.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable operating as both a strategic partner and hands-on systems owner.
