  • Ensure Quality & Compliance: Assure that engineering processes, system architecture, and documentation meet high-quality standards and applicable healthcare regulatory guidelines (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2).
  • Optimize Engineering Operations: Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance software development efficiency, maintainability, and team health.
  • Track Performance: Define and monitor key performance metrics to measure team productivity, code quality, and delivery timelines, communicating progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of direct people leadership and engineering management experience.
  • A People-First Leadership Philosophy: You have a proven ability to build and develop high-performing engineering teams through effective hiring, training, mentoring, and feedback. • A Culture-Driven Mindset: You intentionally cultivate a team culture that is creative, collaborative, curious, caring, and conscientious.
  • Strong technical background with demonstrated experience designing and delivering systems using: Python, React, TypeScript, Flask/FastAPI, Redux, NoSQL, and Serverless architectures.
  • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS, CloudFormation, Terraform), including designing for scalability and supportability.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with a track record of partnering with product management to define vision and development priorities.
  • A passion for process improvement, agile methodologies, and aligning engineering efforts with the company's strategic objectives.
