This is an opportunity to help build a new practice within an established consulting firm. We are looking for practitioners who enjoy solving complex problems, working directly with clients, and helping shape a growing business. Everyone on the team is expected to contribute beyond client delivery by helping recruit top talent, develop new offerings, contribute to thought leadership, and continually improve how we deliver work as the practice grows.

The Roles

We are hiring experienced business transformation consultants with experience in consumer lending, commercial lending, or payments. These are hands-on consulting roles for people with experience helping banks improve operations, redesign operating models, and deliver business transformation.

We are hiring at two levels:

Managing Consultant — You lead complex engagement workstreams and work closely with clients to deliver high-quality results. You coordinate day-to-day project execution, develop and review client deliverables, translate findings into practical recommendations and implementation roadmaps, and coach more junior staff. You also help build the practice through supporting recruiting, developing new offerings, and contributing to thought leadership.

Consultant — You lead analyses and deliverables, and aspects of complex engagement workstreams, working closely with senior team members to solve complex business problems and support successful client engagements. You coordinate day-to-day project execution, develop and review client deliverables, translate findings into practical recommendations and implementation roadmaps, and coach Associates and Senior Associates. You also help build the practice through supporting recruiting, developing new offerings, and contributing to thought leadership.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead or support transformation initiatives across consumer lending, commercial lending, and payments.
  • Assess current operations, design future-state operating models, and develop practical implementation roadmaps.
  • Support transformation programs, governance, and PMOs from strategy through execution.
  • Support technology-enabled transformation, including vendor evaluation, implementation, and business readiness.
  • Develop high-quality client deliverables and executive presentations.
  • Build effective working relationships with clients and communicate recommendations to project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with our AI specialists to incorporate AI-enabled approaches into consulting delivery.
  • Support business development and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

At the Managing Consultant level, you will additionally:

  • Lead complex workstreams and coordinate day-to-day project execution.
  • Review work products and coach junior team members.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for portions of the client team.
  • Support engagement planning, project management, and successful delivery.

Success in these roles requires strong consulting skills, banking experience, sound judgment, and a willingness to help build a growing practice.
